For Guests With Children

We offer the following amenities and services to make your stay comfortable with children:

Stay and Amenities
Children under 5 years old may stay free of charge when sharing a bed with an adult. For children aged 6 and above, they will be registered as adults, and the same accommodation rate as an adult will apply, even if no additional bed is required. Additionally, only one child per existing bed (excluding sofa beds, extra beds, and daybeds) is allowed. If exceed the maximum occupancy, an additional charge or a separate room reservation will be required.

The following items may be borrowed and please be advised that advance reservation is required and also the quantities are limited. We recommend informing us in advance of any specific needs.

The Height from the floor is standardized at 50 cm for all beds. The Height of extra beds may vary depending on type.

  • Suite Room King Beds: 200 cm x 203 cm x 25 cm
  • Extra Bed (Sofa Bed): 90 cm x 200 cm x 19 cm 

 

At the Restaurants​

  • High chairs, children’s tableware, and cutlery are available upon request. Please inform us when making your reservation.​
  • At our specialty restaurant “Shirakachi Sushi,” children under 12 years of age are not permitted. Additionally, entry to the Shirakachi Bar is limited to guests aged 20 and above.​
  • At All Day Dining Serale and Cucina Serale (Italian), a dedicated children’s menu is available. At our other restaurants, please select from the à la carte menu.​
  • If you have any food allergies, please inform us in advance when making your reservation.​
  • Guests are welcome to bring baby food into the restaurant.

At the Pools, Activities & Spa​

  • When using the pool, children must be accompanied in the water by a parent or guardian at all times and remain within arm’s reach for safety.​
  • Children who are not yet toilet-trained must wear swim diapers under their swimsuits while using the pool.​
  • Camp Hyatt offers a variety of activities for children aged 4 and above. Eligible children may join under our supervised care, and parents are welcome to observe.​
  • For safety reasons, children who are not participating in a program at the Seragaki Island Marine & Activity Club may not accompany or observe the activities.​
  • Children under the age of 16 year must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when using the fitness center, and children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the facility.​
  • Guests under the age of 16—including accompanying minors—are not permitted to enter Spa Hanari. During spa treatments, we invite parents to consider the Camp Hyatt program to ensure a comfortable experience for your child.

We are certified ISO 22000:2018 for our food safety management system.

Seragaki Island Marine & Activity Club​

Please review the following information when participating in our Marine Activities, Wellness Activities, and Camp Hyatt programs.​

Reservations & Fees​

  • All displayed prices include consumption tax; a service charge will be added separately. Please note that the final billed amount may vary slightly due to our accounting system specifications.​
  • Reservations are accepted until one hour prior to the program start time. Same‑day participation is possible depending on availability; however, we recommend advance reservations during high season.​
  • For marine activities, please wear swimwear or attire that may get wet. All necessary equipment will be provided by the hotel. Complimentary rental of T‑shirts, shorts, and shoes is available; please note that quantities and sizes may be limited.​

 

Cancellations & Changes​

  • Changes or cancellations must be made by 7:00 PM on the day prior to your program. Cancellations made after this time will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Contact: Seragaki Island Marine & Activity Club | Tel: 098‑960‑4287​
  • The final decision to operate any program will be made approximately one hour before the start time, based on weather conditions, sea conditions, tides, and equipment maintenance. Programs may be changed or cancelled without prior notice if sudden weather changes prevent safe operation.​
  • In the event of cancellation, we will contact you via your guestroom phone or the mobile number provided at the time of reservation.​
  • Please note that participation may not be possible if a program is fully booked or if equipment availability is limited.​
  • Weather Policy:​
    • Marine Programs: Operate as usual in cases of rain only. Programs will be cancelled if strong winds, high waves, or other conditions prevent safe operation.​
    • Wellness Programs involving outdoor movement (such as jogging or cycling): May be cancelled depending on rainfall and road conditions.​

 

Safety Guidelines​

  • Children under the age of 12must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when participating in Marine or Wellness programs.​
  • Guests who are pregnant or may be pregnant are not permitted to participate in Marine or Wellness programs.​
  • Participation in Marine or Wellness programs may be declined if we determine that a guest’s health condition may compromise safety.​
  • Guests 75 years and older are not eligible to join Marine or Wellness programs.​
  • Guests aged 60 to 74 years must present a medical certificate and consent form to participate in Marine or Wellness programs, regardless of medical history. Please note that fees for obtaining the certificate are the responsibility of the guest, and refunds cannot be issued even if a program is cancelled due to weather or other conditions.​
  • For your safety, life jackets are mandatory when participating in snorkeling programs.​
  • The jet ski experience is offered as a ride‑along program, with the jet ski operated exclusively by an instructor. Guests may not operate the jet ski themselves, even if they hold a license.​
  • To ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, guests who are not participating in the program may not accompany or observe for Marine or Wellness programs.​
  • At Camp Hyatt, parents are welcome to join their children in the activities, and adults may also participate independently. Fees will be charged based on the number of items created.

 

At the Pools, Beach & Other Facilities

  • Non-staying guests are welcome to use the pools (Gusuku Pool and Lagoon), beach area, fitness center, and changing rooms for a visitor facility fee. Please register at the Poolside Bar located beside the outdoor pool. If the Poolside Bar is closed, please proceed to the reception at All Day Dining Serale on the 1st floor of The Island building. Visitor Fee: Adults JPY 5,000 (tax excluded); Children ages 6–11 JPY 2,500 (tax excluded).​
  • ​Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island, Okinawa welcomes guests from diverse cultures and lifestyles. Tattoos are permitted at the pools and beach. However, to ensure the comfort of all guests, tattoos that may be perceived as intimidating or offensive are not allowed.​
  • Complimentary swimsuit spin dryers are available in the changing rooms on the 1st floor of The Island building and the 1st floor of The Beach House. Towels are provided at the indoor and outdoor pools as well as at the Beach House.​
  • ​Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times when using the pools or beach.​
  • ​Children’s life jackets are available free of charge. Please note that quantities are limited and advance reservations are not accepted. Life jackets may not be taken outside the hotel premises. Adult life jackets are not available.​
  • Air pumps for inflatable floats are available at the fitness center and outdoor pool. Floats may also be rented for a daily fee. Rental floats may be used at the hotel pools and beach but may not be taken outside the property. Various sizes (adult, child, toddler) are offered at a flat daily rate of JPY 2,000 (tax excluded). Children’s arm floaties are available for purchase for JPY 2,000 (tax excluded).​
  • ​Goggles, swimwear, and sandals are not available for rental. Please bring your own.​
  • ​The use of beach balls or inflatables larger than 120 cm may be restricted depending on weather conditions, wind speed, or crowd levels, at the discretion of the lifeguards.​
  • ​For safety and visibility reasons, snorkels and fins may not be brought into the swimming areas of the pool or beach. Additionally, we do not rent kayaks, SUP boards, jet skis, or similar equipment. These activities are offered exclusively as guided programs led by an instructor.​
  • ​As the waters surrounding Seragaki Island experience frequent boat traffic and strong currents, please refrain from swimming outside the designated swimming area. To avoid injury from hazardous marine life, please enjoy swimming within the protective nets.​
  • ​During low tide, Seragaki Beach may become shallow enough to expose the sea bottom, and marine life may not be visible. For a richer snorkeling experience with a variety of fish and coral, we recommend joining one of our guided snorkeling programs.​
  • ​The use of fireworks or fishing on Seragaki Beach or anywhere within hotel premises is prohibited.​
  • ​For safety reasons, yoga mats, dumbbells, and other fitness equipment from the fitness center may not be taken outside the facility.

Notice for photo-shooting, filming or recording

We kindly ask that guests taking photos or videos in our public areas—including the lobby and indoor/outdoor pool area or while inside the hotel’s bars and restaurants—give due consideration to the privacy and comfort of other patrons and refrain from including them in the content. Please refrain from acts that may disturb other guests, such as taking photos for a prolonged period in our public spaces. In the interest of ensuring the enjoyment and privacy of other guests, please understand that on certain occasions, hotel associates may approach you regarding the use of cameras and/or other recording devices.

Please note that photography and video recording for commercial purposes are prohibited unless prior permission has been granted by the hotel. Additionally, wedding photo shoots involving formal attire such as tuxedos or dresses are also not permitted.

No Smoking Policy

At Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island, Okinawa, smoking is prohibited throughout the entire property (including all guest rooms, balconies, outdoor terraces, bars, private rooms, outdoor pools, beach areas, and all other outdoor spaces within the hotel grounds) except in designated smoking area. The smoking room is located on the first floor of The Island, in front of the restroom. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Pet Policy

The hotel does not allow pets except for service animals.

Disposable Guest Amenities

As part of our ongoing commitment to reducing waste, our hotel provides a limited selection of disposable guest amenities. Additionally, we have switched our plastic water bottles to aluminum bottles which can be refilled at the water stations located on each guest room floor. We kindly suggest packing necessary daily essential in advance. Should you have any special requests or require additional amenities, please feel free to contact us after check-in.
