Mountain Lights
“Mountain Lights” is an immersive large-scale art installation of light held in the summer, set in the vast nature of Niseko Hanazono Resort. This extraordinary light art installation is created by British artist Bruce Munro to illuminate nights in Niseko.

HANAZONO ZIPFLIGHT
Mega Zipline - One of the World's largest ziplines had a grand opening in 2022 and now in Hanazono!
The total zip tour distance is 2,591 metres in length, and the longest in Japan, “MACH 3”, at 1,700 metres, reaches speeds in excess of 110km/h. Two ziplines are set side by side, so you can experience it together with friends and family. Spectacular view of Hokkaido's landmark Mount Yotei the beauty of surrounding area as far as the eye can see from the sky is all yours.

GOLF
Set in a stunning natural setting with outstanding water features
HANAZONO GOLF has 18 holes to challenge, fascinate and entertain golfers. Set in a beautiful natural setting featuring a spring water creek and natural birch forest it also offers stunning vistas of Mt. Yotei and the surrounding Annupuri mountain range.
The course offers great variety in its layout which accentuates the breathtaking views on offer as you play through the various types of terrain and navigate some elevation changes especially on the back 9.
The golfer is sure to be entertained throughout the round and amazed by the beauty of the course.
RAFTING, DUCKY
Enjoy the clear Shiribetsu river with family and friends
Rafting is the most popular outdoor activity in Niseko.
Jump into a rubber boat with your friends and challenge yourself to a trip down one of Hokkaido's most beautiful rivers, the Shiribetsu river.
Along with your fellow crew and experienced guide, you will enjoy the thrills and excitement of rafting on whitewater. Based on the season, Hokkaido Rivers offer rafting trips suited to adventure seekers with the large snowmelt in the springtime, through to lower graded tours that the whole family can enjoy in summer.
Whether you are a first-timer or an experienced outdoor sports fanatic, rafting is amazing fun and suitable for all ages.
TREE TREKKING & TREE WALK
Feel on top of the world with Hanazono Forest Tree Trekking, a series of 6 high ropes courses laid out among the trees for an exhilarating and challenging experience.
Courses include platforms to progress to with unique paths between each to test your courage and problem-solving abilities. Four courses also have a zipline where you can fly through the trees like a bird and feel the summer breeze in your hair.
Courses range in level from Beginner to Intermediate so guests of all ages can be engaged.
PADEL+ COURT OPENING THIS SUMMER
With its origins in Latin America, padel tennis is a racket sport that blends the best of tennis and squash. It combines fast-paced action with strategic maneuvering, demanding precision, agility, and endurance to conquer the court.
Partnership with PADEL+, the first Padel club will be opened at Niseko Hanazono Resort in summer 2025. Enjoy a top-notch padel experience with local residents and hotel guests and build a strong community here.

CYCLING
Niseko - A Paradise for Cyclists!
Cycling is a must-do for your summer adventure in Niseko. Summer in Niseko is the perfect environment for cyclists, with large and small cycling events taking place. Cycling at Hanazono can be selected from a guided cycling tour and rental at our Niseko Sports Rental & Retail Shops in the resort.
Private Nature Trekking Tour by HANAZONO
Explore the Niseko area on a private trekking tour with the best local guide. You can choose 1 of 4 courses with 3 different difficulty levels between the courses. Each level aims to inspire guests and teach them about local flora, fauna, and ecosystems, some of which can only find in Hokkaido. The duration of each course is 3 hours.
Level 1: Shinsen-Numa course and Lake Hangetsu course
Level 2: Kagami-numa course
Level 3: Iwaonupuri course
HANAZONO RIVER FISHING TOUR
An expert fishing guide will take you on a private lesson, navigating through Hokkaido's rivers, fishing the native breeds.
All tours provide all your fishing gear. To get started, including waders, fishing rods, kit, and casting lessons. Beginner and intermediate tours are available, with all tours being half-day.
Booking must be made by noon the day before the requested date.

Nature of Hokkaido
50 minutes drive from Niseko, Niki and Yoichi are beautiful towns at the heart of Hokkaido’s wine grape production. Alongside multiple old and new wineries, it’s also a town renowned for its fruits, excellent whiskey distillery and fresh seafood.
Known for it's cherries and apples, Niki town is a true fruits paradise. Some orchards are open for tourists to pick their own fruits, and most of them are selling fresh produce and jam, wines, sweets and jellies too. Great fun for family outing.
