Our Policy on Children’s Stays at the Resort
Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort and Spa welcomes guests of all ages, including infants and small children. However, for the comfort of all who stay with us, we would like to remind those families visiting with children to be mindful of their little ones’ behavior in the hotel’s public spaces.
Restaurant Etiquette
Although we do not have an age limit, when you are with a child who cannot sit down calmly during mealtimes, it would be appreciated if you would consider using room service.
Lounge Etiquette
Please note that the Living Room is not available for children of infant to preschool age after 9 p.m., as the Living Room converts to a bar lounge at 8 p.m. Please don't hesitate to ask if there's anything we can do for you.
Onsen (Hot Spring) Etiquette
Infants are not permitted in the onsen. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
Spa Treatment Etiquette
Those under 17 years of age are kindly requested not to use spa treatments.

We kindly ask that guests taking photos while using public areas, such as the hotel’s lounge and restaurants, give due consideration to the privacy and comfort of other patrons. In the interest of ensuring the enjoyment and privacy of other guests, please understand that hotel staff may on occasion approach you regarding the use of cameras or other recording equipment.
Please refrain from using all electronic devices (including mobile phones and tablets) in Spa IZUMI and the onsens (hot springs). Taking photos and videos is strictly prohibited.
