Our Hotel Story
Set to inspire well-traveled, creative and sophisticated leisure guests, Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui is situated in a prime location surrounded by world class art and cultural hot spots. The hotel offers a variety of authentic dining offerings supported by a strong loyal customer base built since 1969 when Hyatt Regency Hong Kong was opened as the first Hyatt hotel operated outside of The United States.
Revival of the Legend
Established in 1969 and operated as the first Hyatt hotel outside of the United States, Hyatt Regency Hong Kong closed its doors on New Year’s Day 2006, both international guests and residents lamented the end of a hospitality era.
Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui re-opened its doors on 2 October 2009 by updating nostalgic favourites and veritable Hong Kong institutions like Hugo’s, Chin Chin Bar and The Chinese Restaurant to continue the legacy of the former Hyatt Regency Hong Kong.
