Niseko Hanazono Resort's Winter season to open on December 4, 2021, showcasing new world-class facilities and experiences.
October 13, 2021

A new chapter in Japan’s ski universe is about to start. The long awaited new Hanazono Lift 1 (6-seat heated leather chairlift) and the new Hanazono Symphony Gondola (capacity of 10 persons), both showcasing the very latest in luxury design and technology and made by French firm POMA, will be finally unveiled on December 4, 2021. In addition, the resort will also introduce night skiing and new ski courses, including a new beginner run.

The new ski lifts have been specifically designed to complement the glamorous look of the Hanazono EDGE, Hanazono Resort and Park Hyatt Niseko area. A so-called POMA direct drive system, the first of its kind in Japan, will launch a new era of environmental responsibility to our resort operations, with reduced levels of noise and improved energy efficiency. The new ski lifts do also represent a huge leap forward in terms of comfort, speed and convenience for Hanazono guests, who currently already flock to the area because of its hospitality, quality powder snow, mountainous terrain and superior facilities.
