As a global hotel chain, Hyatt Hotels Corporation has been working since 2012 to pursue food safety and security. At Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono, we built an in-house Food Safety Management team to strengthen our existing system. To operate with this certification more reliably, we continued to make thorough improvements throughout the company while carefully monitoring the process from production to shipping.
As a result, we have acquired the ISO 22000:2018 certification, an international standard that comprehensively manages the quality, manufacturing environment, and in-house system throughout all stages of production until food is provided to the customers.
We also achieved Chain of Custody (CoC) certification by MSC and ASC, a traceability and segregation standard that applies to the entire supply chain from a certified fishery or farm to final sale. We recognize the importance of safeguarding the ocean. As a part of the sustainable seafood menu, we currently offer "Chef Rei's Carpaccio Pink pepper and Yuzu vinaigrette (JPY3,080 excluding service) at The Lounge and In Room Dining, and aim to extend more menus to other restaurants as well.
