INSPIRING HISTORY

Named after a fictional character Herr Hugo Ludwig Wilhelm von Gluckenstein, a Bavarian Host who served only the best food and wine, now Hugo stands still in his armor suit at the entrance to welcome all honorable guests. 

Decorated with ornate mirrors, chandeliers, guns and shield plaques, the restaurant has an array of traditional serving apparatus, including Christofle hors d’oeuvres and dessert trolleys, all from the 1960s, presenting a unique and classic European atmosphere.

Gueridon service is the métier of the restaurant.

Be inspired by Hugo’s crafts of table-side preparation such as lobster bisque, Caesar salad, steak tartare, steak au poivre, Dover sole meuniere, lobster thermidor, crêpes suzette and café diablo. 

Hugo's also has extensive imported items including roasted US rib of beef, roasted lamb rack, as well as a wide variety of world class steaks including US prime angus, all from the show kitchen's open grill.

With chandeliers, ornate mirrors, guns, table, floor, carpet and genuine Ming vases inherited from the old Hugo's from the 1960s, Hugo's private dining room can accommodate private gatherings. CHEF ERIC'S WINTER TASTING MENU

Drawing inspiration from the winter season, Hugo’s French Executive Sous Chef, Eric Taluy, has curated a new five course tasting menu using carefully chosen ingredients to highlight the best of the season.

Available from 1 December 2022 to 28 February 2023, priced at HK$1,458 per person. Guests could opt for wine pairing with the menu at a supplement of HK$768 per person.
