BC Lions | BC Place Stadium

Five-time champions, the BC Lions, play their home games at BC Place Stadium, just a short walk from Hyatt Regency Vancouver. Canadian football is played with three downs on a longer and wider field than American football and is generally a more fast-paced and pass-oriented game. BC Place is also the sight of concerts by leading entertainers and consumer shows. It was also the host of the 2010 Winter Olympics opening and closing ceremonies.

The gallery features special exhibitions of contemporary Indigenous Art of the Northwest Coast of North America, as well as the Simon Fraser University Bill Reid Collection. Named after Haida artist Bill Reid, who was a sculptor, writer, carver and master goldsmith, as well as a broadcaster and spokesman.
