  • A four-day stay at Hyatt Port of Spain.

Nice Hotel. Would like to reserve meeting rooms. Easy access when driving. Convenient complementary parking. Typical local breakfast with choices.

  • Daycare Center

Unless you're traveling with children I would NOT go to The Hyatt Regency in Trinidad! It felt like a daycare center where the parents were at work. I went with my husband for our anniversary, BIG MISTAKE!! Not only that but the food selections were horrible! I chose this hotel due to reviews that stated how amazing the food options were but don't waste your time AND DEFINITELY YOUR MONEY! The additional charges on meals were ridiculous! You pay a service charge and additional taxes and none of this goes to your server who of course wants to receive a tip for their mediocre service (with the exception of the waiter I had on my last day) Excluding going to Marcas Beach I definitely didn't enjoy my first time and more than likely last time in Trinidad!

  • Staycation for 1 Year Anniversary

My wife and I celebrated our one year Anniversary. Hyatt Trinidad is second to none. They welcomed us upon entry with. Their level of courtesy is above and beyond, staff is always smiling. They treated us like we were special and they every staff that we came across congratulated us upon hearing its our Anniversary. The facility is very well kept, the rooms are super clean and the Food is amazing. Always my go to for a Staycation.

  • Great experience for solo relaxation

I had a fantastic experience at the Hyatt Trinidad. I placed the winning bid on a three-night stay, and I didn't end up having to pay any taxes or other fees at check-in or check-out. Front desk staff showed no annoyance at all with my use of the certificate, though it took some time to work out in the system (which was not a problem at all!). Every single staff person I encountered was incredibly warm and helpful. All of my needs were met, and in a timely fashion. I wasn't a fan of the breakfast since I do not like buffets at all. I had tea and the person serving was very kind. She even created some distance between my table a table with four or five people who were a lot more lively when she realized I was alone and very chill. There is a place just two minutes walk along the water with local vendors where I got breakfast for about USD5 which was quite fine by me! I went to the spa twice and both times were memorable as all of the staff were wonderful and the service rendered was excellent. Anna did a great, quick wax, and Christine and Danielle gave relaxing deep tissue and aromatherapy massages, respectively. I am looking forward to staying at the Hyatt again.

  • Perfect Summer Getaway

This was one of the best trips I've had for the year. The food and drinks was very good and if you like sitting outside and taking in the sunset with a cocktail and live music then the waterfront is the perfer place.

  • Disappointing

Disappointing experience. I did not experience any high-quality service except for the concierge and restaurant staff. Otherwise, beds were uncomfortable, customer service needs drastically improving and lighting needs improving in rooms. I could not wait for this staycation to be over. When I got home, I slept on my bed and finally had a good night sleep in days.

  • Amazing Customer Service at the Hyatt, Trinidad!

What an amazing experience! Customer service at it's finest. It did not disappoint. From Food & Beverage, to cleanliness of room and facility, we were treated like royalty. Angelique, Chris DeGannes, and Christine are truly amazing. They really know how to make you feel special.

  • Family travel

Although room was adequate in size the beds were small (140 cm each double bed) and had an unpleasant humid moldy smell from the air conditioning system. The service was good in general. Good but rather expensive breakfast - charged also to children.

Your feedback is very much appreciated, and we apologise that your experience was not what you expected. Kindly note that for breakfast, kids 6-12 years old pay half price and children 5 and under eat complimentary.

  • Great staff!

Overall experience was really good. Needed an early check in and late check out and staff were excellent at accommodating the request based on availability. Will definitely visit again

We do have an amazing team, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Thank you for your wonderful comments and we are pleased that we could facilitate as early check-in and late checkout are not always available to accommodate.

  • Awesome

Rooms were clean and very accommodating. Bathroom 10 out of 10. The pool area was very ambiant and barman very helpful and skilled. Breakfast was buffet styled with a mix of local and continental cuisine. Hotel staff was very pleasant and quick to respond to your needs. Would recommend to everyone.
