At Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort, sustainability is at the heart of our journey. Inspired by our location on Kamala Beach and the rich marine life of the Andaman Sea, we are dedicated to protecting the environment and supporting the local community.
Our Marine Biological Center, the only one of its kind within a resort in Phuket, reflects our commitment by sharing marine knowledge and raising conservation awareness among guests and local communities. Beyond education, our team also leads the Coral Reef Restoration Project, planting and nurturing young corals to help regenerate local ecosystems, ensuring that care for the ocean is both learned and lived.
Alongside this, we continue to implement responsible practices across the resort to ensure that every stay contributes to a more sustainable future for Phuket.
World of Care is Hyatt’s approach to caring for the planet, people and responsible business. To learn more, visit Hyatt.com/WorldOfCare.

Guest rooms are cooled with air conditioning systems that allow greater energy efficiency and comfort control, while heat pumps in our main restaurant ease energy use by around 1–2%.
Beyond energy, water is treated as a gift of nature. We conserve water by installing high efficiency faucets, shower heads, and toilets that use less water while maintaining full performance. These upgrades reduce daily consumption across guest rooms and public areas, helping preserve local freshwater resources.

At the resort, circular practices are woven into daily life, whether in guest experiences or colleague routines. Ensuring sustainability is not just a policy, but a way of being.

Dining at our hotel is driven by freshness and a deep care for quality on every plate. Each menu is shaped by seasonal ingredients from trusted local producers, with a commitment to choosing what is closest to home, such as artisan cheese from Chiang Mai, over distant imports.
Our hotel uses 100% cage free eggs across our F&B venues, including our colleague restaurant.
This mindful way of sourcing not only lessens environmental impact but also ensures that every dish is served with integrity, respect, and a genuine connection between our guests and the world we share.

Phuket’s coastal ecosystems are at the heart of its natural beauty, and Kamala Beach opens directly onto the Andaman Sea. Guests can join guided snorkeling and marine discovery activities at our house reef, while our dedicated team tends to reef restoration, restoring coral habitats with care and commitment. At the same time, our Marine Biological Center extends conservation awareness to guests, local schools and the Kamala community. These experiences connect travelers with the destination and support its long term preservation.
