Hotel Policies
Check-in/Check-out Timing
- Check-in Time: 2:00 PM
- Check-out Time: 12:00 PM
- Unless specified in the standard reservation confirmation voucher issued by the Hyatt Regency Delhi.
Family Plan Policy
Children aged 12 and under sleep free in existing room bedding. Rollaway beds, child rollaway beds, and cribs will incur extra charges.
ID Requirement
For security purposes, valid Indian Government-approved photo identification with an address is required at check-in for all guests occupying the room. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, passport, Aadhar card, and/or Voter ID. A copy of the document will be made for record at check-in. Foreigners must provide a valid VISA upon arrival before check-in.
Late Checkout Policy
Late checkouts between 12 noon and 6 PM will be charged 50% of one night’s room rate. After 6 PM, guests will be charged one night’s room rate.
Early Arrival Policy
Early arrivals before 8 AM will be charged one night’s room rate. Arrivals between 8 AM and 2 PM will be charged 50% of the room rate.
Parking Policy
Daily valet parking is available free of charge for all guests staying in house. Visiting guests must pay INR 200 for valet parking. Parking is at the owner's risk. Overnight parking is available only for in-house guests after stipulated security checks. The hotel is not liable for theft or damage to any parked vehicles.
Facility Use Policy
Use of recreational facilities, such as the pool, gym, and spa, is governed by minimum age requirements. Generally, these services can only be used or requested by guests 16 years of age and above. Guests aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult guardian. The hotel is not liable for the safety and security of any individual; it is assumed that users are medically/physically fit and trained before utilizing any hotel facility. Pet Policy
The hotel does not allow pets with the exception of service animals.
Security Policy
For security reasons, duplicate keys to the guest room will not be issued without the presence of the registered guest(s) and only after the presentation of valid photo identification. The hotel has strict CCTV camera monitoring, and CCTV access is prohibited for guest viewing for any reason.
Hyatt Regency Delhi, its servants, or agents, accept no responsibility for loss or damage of any nature, including as a result of negligent acts or omissions, to property belonging to guests, whether placed in the guest room safe or not, or from any physical injuries suffered by the guest. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Guest rooms and floors are accessible to registered guests only; visitors should be met in the hotel public area.
Smoking Policy
All public areas within the hotel are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted only in smoking rooms located on designated floors or in designated outdoor smoking areas. Sale of tobacco and tobacco products to minors under the age of 18 is not permitted. Smoking in non-smoking areas or in non-smoking rooms will attract a penalty of INR 20,000 per occurrence per person.
Interconnecting Room
The hotel’s interconnecting rooms and adjacent rooms are subject to availability, and requests should be placed at the time of reservation. Allocation of rooms is subject to availability on the day of arrival.
Cancellation/Deposit Policy
All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card, advance payment, or company deposit. The hotel is authorized to charge no-show retentions or charges per reservation in case of non-arrival of the guest. To confirm your reservation, the hotel may pre-authorize an amount equivalent to 1-night's room rate and applicable taxes within 48 hours of scheduled arrival. The hotel is authorized to release a booking if the pre-authorization is declined for any reason.
Reservations can be cancelled without any charge a certain period in advance of the check-in date, depending on the room category, unless specified differently in the standard reservation confirmation voucher issued by the hotel. Certain reservations are non-refundable and non-cancelable; in all such cases, the credit card is charged at the time of booking/reservation. The entire stay amount, including taxes, will be charged in case of late cancellation or no-show.
Payment Policy
At check-in, the hotel will collect room charges and taxes using an approved credit card provided at check-in or an alternative mode of payment provided for the entire reserved stay. In addition to stay charges, the hotel will take a certain value of incidental charges to avoid any disruption or inconvenience during your stay.
Credit Card Policy
The physical presence of the credit card holder is mandatory to utilize the credit card at any point of sale at the hotel. The hotel does not accept cheque payments. By providing credit card details at the time of reservation, you authorize the hotel to charge the card in case of no-show or late cancellation.
Extra Bed / Extra Person Policy
One older child or adult is charged INR 2500 plus taxes per person per night for an extra bed. The maximum number of extra beds/children's cots permitted in a room is one. An extra person does not include any supplement/inclusions of the rate for the third person.
Outside Food and Beverage Policy
The hotel does not allow outside food and beverages to be brought in unless separately approved through written permission. Consumption of outside food and beverages by resident guests is done at their own risk, and the hotel will not be liable for any damage or inconvenience. In case outside food is ordered, the hotel is not responsible for delivering it to the room.
Child Food & Beverage Policy
Please find below the child food and beverage policy applicable at our outlets:
- 5 years old or below: Children enjoy a complimentary buffet at all food and beverage outlets at Hyatt Regency Delhi.
- 6 to 12 years old: Children pay only 50% of the buffet price.
- 13 years old or above: Children pay the full buffet price.
- Café and in-room dining offer a kids' menu.
In-House Children Breakfast Policy
For all bookings with breakfast-inclusive rate plans, such as Bed and Breakfast rates, Member Bed and Breakfast Rates, corporate rates, or any promotional offer inclusive of breakfast per registered guest, all registered in-house children aged 12 years old or under will receive complimentary breakfast.
Visitor Policy
The hotel does not allow outside visitors, who are not registered with the hotel as occupants, inside the guest room corridor or guest rooms. Guests' meetings and entertainments are permitted in public areas or restaurants only. Photo ID proof and extra occupancy charges are mandatory for registering additional guests.
Guest Room Usage
Storing articles of a combustible or hazardous nature in the guest room is strictly prohibited. Usage of banned products or the consumption of narcotic products/drugs is strictly prohibited. It is understood that guest room usage by guests is not for any activity not permitted under Indian Laws. We do not allow poker chips/cards (gambling), Bluetooth or wired speakers, hookah, firearms/weapons, and flammable items inside the hotel. The client/guest agrees that they shall not engage in nor willfully nor negligently allow any illegal activities, such as but not limited to unlawful activities under the Telangana Gaming Act, The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, The Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, and any other and all applicable penal statutes in force.
Usage of Camera and Photography / Videography Equipment
The use of professional cameras and drones is not allowed at the hotel. Photography is prohibited unless written permission is granted. Any photography or videography for commercial purposes within the hotel requires written copyright approval from an authorized hotel representative.
Guest Conduct
Hyatt Regency Delhi reserves the right to control the entry of persons into the hotel's facilities. In the unfortunate event that a client’s guests or their associates exhibit behavior that becomes unacceptable and causes embarrassment or discomfort to other guests or hotel staff, the management reserves the right to remove the individual(s) from the hotel premises.
Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction
If any dispute or differences of opinion arise between the client/guests in relation to or in connection with Hyatt Regency Delhi, they will undertake negotiation in good faith with a view to resolving the matter. The parties shall endeavor to settle all disputes and differences amicably.
In the event that the parties fail to resolve any dispute amicably, the same shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 with all modifications and re-enactments thereto as is prevalent in India. Each party shall be entitled to nominate an arbitrator, and the two arbitrators so nominated shall jointly nominate the third presiding arbitrator. The arbitrators shall give a reasoned award. The proper law for the purpose of arbitration shall be Indian laws, based out of Delhi.
If any dispute or difference arises between the client/guests relating to or arising out of the services and facilities offered by the hotel (whether during the stay/usage or upon or after its usage), and no amicable resolution or settlement is reached within a period of thirty (30) days, such disputes and/or differences shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi only. The disputes are subject to and governed by the laws of India.
