Hyatt Calgary
Solid property. It is in a great location steps from the Calgary Tower, restaurants, public transportation. It is 1 easy bus ride from the airport. Property is clean and modern. Staff is great. Regency club has gorgeous views. Breakfast and evening appetizers os as expected of a Hyatt club.

Awesome choice in Calgary
Hyatt Calgary was exceptional! The rooms were spacious, the hotel amenities were generous, the staff was amazing. This was a much bigger and well-appointed room than the Fairmont, and had a fridge in the room, which is important to us-they don't have that at Fairmont. The bathroom space (including counter space) was very generous. So many places walkable from here, super convenient location. Stay here!

Great hotel in great location
Fantastic location right in downtown Calgary. Walkable to many bars and restaurants. And tourist attractions. Room was spacious, well-maintained and clean. Would stay again.

Great hotel, incredible staff members and a beautiful city that moves at its own pace. I will definitely be back. Until next time Calgary. P.S. The Calgarians are crazy about their beef! I kept hearing, Calgary beef is way better than Ontario beef and I can assure you, they aren't wrong haha.

Comfortable stay in a good location
Comfortable and clean hotel, pleasant staff and located in a central area to get to most areas easily; most areas of interest were within a 20 minute walking distance.

Just a pathetic stay at this Hyatt
Had so unpleasant experience at this hotel, going out from this hotel was so hard, parking in the garage was worst. Charges are so high but valet couldn’t charge my car even when there were more than one charging spots available in the morning, absolutely bad customer service!

The staff and accommodation were fabulous. Meals were delicious and reasonable. Highly recommend a stay at the Hyatt Regency in Calgary, Alberta.

Downtown Calgary after dark
I paid for the park and stay package. Check in was easy, parking was a breeze, the room was clean and provided a great view of the downtown area after dark.

Centrally located hotel in downtown Calgary with great concierge lounge
Great location in downtown Calgary. convenient to everything. You can walk out the back door and be on the main street with all the restaurants and shops. The staff here are outstanding. Lukas the Bellman is a great servant who is always willing to help you. The spa is excellent. The room has a 65 inch TV and a nice big bathtub. If you’re going on Tours, most of the Tours will pick you up at this hotel since it’s centrally located. Very easy to walk around downtown. The club lounge is excellent with a great hot breakfast and a couple of hot evening hors d’oeuvres. Snacks and drinks are out through the day, including fresh cookies.. The staff is outstanding here.

Not great
For the money we paid to have “club access “ I would definitely never do it again. Didn’t even get to have breakfast as it was packed full of kids and what seemed to be every guest in the hotel. There was nowhere to be seated.

Hyatt never disappoints!! Steam in the steam room. Soak in n the hot-tub. Quench your thirsts n the lounge. Coffee up in the Starbucks. Walk, Transit or Uber anywhere in dt Calgary.

Wonderful Weekend
The Hyatt was a beautiful, accessible and wonderful place to stay. My room was clean and the staff straightened up every day, leaving the room clean and fresh daily. We were close to the elevators and there was some noise with that, but it soon became background noise and not intrusive.

A great conference experience
I recently stayed at The Hyatt to attend a writer's conference. Though the hotel was fully booked, the atmosphere was never frenetic or overwhelming. The conference rooms were well appointed and in excellent condition. Staff were welcoming and attentive , from room service, front desk, security, housekeeping and dining room. The biggest drawback is the parking -- but it is a common issue in all downtown hotels.

Spacious, attractive, and comfortable
This hotel provided an excellent venue for the conference I attended. The guest rooms and the conference rooms were pleasant, and the location of the hotel in the heart of Calgary's downtown area meant that I could easily go out to get whatever I needed, or to find additional dining options.

Great stay, comfy bed
Excellent stay while visiting friends and attending conference. Comfortable beds, good valet parking. There is a Starbucks in the building. Good conference facilities. Excellent staff.

Pristine hotel, but terrible food/room service
Do not order room service, food was spoiled. I showed staff photos of the food and never heard back. The cleaning staff were so kind and helpful and the spa was amazing and worth the visit. But food was so gross

An excellent place to stay in downtown Calgary
The Hyatt Regency (downtown) was very conveniently located for our stay, immediately adjacent to Stephen Avenue pedestrian mall, and within a very short walking distance of a C-train station. Hotel reception staff were friendly and very efficient; we experienced the quickest check-in and check-out service I think I've ever encountered at any hotel. We usually manage without the assistance of a porter, but the porter was very helpful in assisting us with loading our car upon our departure. We were able to obtain parking within the hotel's parkade (which I have heard can be a problem). This allowed us to not have to use our car during our entire stay, which was very convenient. Our room lacked a microwave, but when we requested one, hotel maintenance staff were able to find and provide us with one for our stay. Our only complaint about our room was the need for an additional towel bar or two in the washroom. The food at Thomsons Kitchen & bar was very good, and the service was excellent.

Great experience!
Very well designed and intuitive room and great staff response. Also very impressed with their sustainability efforts such as a filtered water faucet and re-usable cups and glasses.
