In our event spaces, we offer refillable water stations and self-service options to reduce the use of single-use plastics. Digital signage and the Hyatt App help minimise paper usage, while stationery is provided only is available upon request to prevent unnecessary waste.

We proudly have the largest integrated installation of E-Water in Australia (and the world)! E-Water provides biodegradable, commercial-grade disinfectant and sanitiser without harsh chemicals.

At Hyatt Centric Melbourne, sustainability is at the core of our culinary philosophy across our food and beverage outlets. We proudly work with local farmers and small producers across regional Victoria and Australia to source the freshest, seasonal ingredients, so that our dishes support more sustainable food production and local communities. Our commitment extends beyond sourcing to reducing waste— through our collaboration with Bardee, we convert food waste into fertilizer and protein products for animal feed, helping reduce impacts on landfill and emissions. We also support local pollination through our adopted honeybee colony with Backyard Honey, contributing to a healthier ecosystem.
