Ski Boot Policy
Out of an abundance of care and concern for the safety of our guests, we ask that ski boots not be worn in the public spaces of the hotel. We apologize for the inconvenience, and encourage all guests to use caution when transitioning from one surface to another during the winter months.
Resort Fee

Pet Policy
We are delighted to welcome your dog to Grand Hyatt Deer Valley. Please inform us in advance of your pet’s arrival. During your stay, we provide branded bowls and beds, with items also available for purchase, plus access to a dedicated dog run on property.
For the comfort and safety of all guests, dogs should be settled and silent by 9 p.m. Dogs are not allowed in our dining outlets or spa or on the pool deck, except for service animals, and must be on a leash in all other public spaces. Please note that housekeeping will not enter your room if your dog is present, even if the dog is in a crate or cage.
Cost / Fee Breakdown
The pet fee is $150. This fee applies for any length of stay up to seven nights and is nonrefundable. For stays longer than seven nights and up to 30 nights, an additional $150 cleaning fee will be charged (for a total of $300).
Restrictions Breakdown
- Guests are not charged a pet fee for service animals.
- A cleaning or damage fee will still be charged if a service animal damages the room.
- Service animals are allowed in any room type on any floor.
- Weight limit: 75 lbs
- Two dogs may be allowed in a guestroom, provided the combined weight of both dogs does not exceed 100 lbs.
- Dogs should be settled and silent by 9 p.m.
- Dogs are not allowed in our dining outlets, spa or pool deck, and must be on a leash in all other public spaces.
- Housekeeping will not enter the room to provide service if the dog is in the room, even if the dog is in a crate or cage.
*We welcome guests with disabilities traveling with their service animals. Service animals are not pets and are not subject to this Pet Policy. For more information, please contact the hotel.
Rollaway Bed Policy
A fee of $50 per night plus tax will be applied for each rollaway bed.
Package Handling Policy
Any items shipped or delivered to the hotel will be associated with a fee and charged to your guest room. To retrieve a delivered package, please visit the Front Desk located in the lobby. For assistance with shipping, please contact the Concierge Desk, and we would be delighted to help facilitate your shipment.
Incoming Package Handling Fees:

- Small (0–10 lbs): $10.00
- Medium (11–25 lbs): $15.00
- Large (25–50 lbs): $20.00
- Golf Bag – Large (25–50 lbs): $45.00
- Ski Bag – Large (25–50 lbs): $45.00
- Oversize Bags and Packages (50+ lbs): $50.00
Outgoing Shipping: Prices will reflect to all outgoing shipments, in addition to the cost of shipping. Shipping rates will vary based on the size, weight, and destination of the package.
