Environmental practices are certified by the German Institute for Sustainability and Economy.
From rooftop beehives to a vertical garden in the event area, sustainability is integrated into everyday operations.
Hyatt EcoTrack is used to monitor key metrics, including greenhouse gas emissions, energy, water, waste, and recycling.
The hotel holds the “Commitment to Sustainability” seal (2026), awarded by the German Institute of Sustainability and Economy across ecology, economy, and social responsibility.
Event menus place a stronger focus on vegetables and meatless dishes, supporting a more balanced approach with a lower environmental impact.

Carbon Emissions and Water

Energy is sourced from wind and solar through the provider EinsEnergie, supporting a lower-impact approach to operations.
Energy use is reduced through efficient central heating systems and LED lighting throughout the hotel.
A vertical Green Wall in the event area, with over 1,930 plants, improves air quality and contributes to lowering carbon emissions.
An osmosis filtration system provides high-quality Munich drinking water, available throughout the hotel, including guest rooms.

Waste and Circularity

Takeaway containers are made from 100% responsibly sourced plastic, with labels in plant-based materials and biodegradable inks.
Plastic bottles are not used. Glass bottles are either recycled or returned through a deposit system, supporting a circular local supply chain. Infused water stations replace purchased bottled water at events.
Food waste is kept to a minimum through practices such as preparing dishes on demand.
Reusable chalk pens replace disposable buffet labels, while edible elements are reused wherever possible.

Our Food Philosophy

A farm-to-table approach, shaped by local suppliers and organic produce, reflects Hyatt’s Food. Thoughtfully Sourced. Carefully Served. philosophy. There are no chafing dishes here, chefs present their work directly, bringing a more immediate connection to the food.
Event menus place greater emphasis on vegetables and meat-free dishes, with a reduced proportion of meat.
Natural materials such as Isar stones replace disposable buffet labels, alongside the use of edible garnishes.
Chalk pens are used instead of disposable labels, while food is prepared on demand and decorative elements are reused where possible.
A commitment that extends further, through a chocolate footprint initiative supporting cacao-growing communities, including tree planting, preservation of rare cacao varieties, and long-term social impact.
