At Thompson Zihuatanejo, we encourage responsible water use throughout the hotel and utilize water-efficient fixtures. Our staff is trained in efficient water usage practices, and we actively monitor our water systems to detect and address leaks promptly. Additionally, we encourage guests to join us in conserving water by being mindful of their water use during their stay. For example, unless otherwise requested, bed linens and towels are refreshed every third day. This small change helps us conserve thousands of gallons of water and reduce the use of detergents and energy.

We have made ongoing investments in energy efficiency to ensure our operations are as environmentally responsible as possible. Our facilities are equipped with energy-efficient lighting and smart temperature controls to reduce consumption.

We also work with responsible fishing suppliers who follow sustainable practices that help protect marine ecosystems and ensure the long-term health of local fish populations.

Additionally, we maintain our own on-site organic garden, where we grow herbs, fruits, and vegetables used in a variety of dishes prepared by our chefs. This provides guests with a truly farm-to-table dining experience.
