Meetings & Events
Located on the 2nd floor, accessible by elevator or dramatic lobby staircase, our downtown Austin meeting and event venues feature 6,300 square feet of space. For flawlessly executed gatherings and unforgettable meetings, Thompson Austin boasts two modern ballrooms, private dining rooms, outdoor event space and three boardrooms. A little secret behind the names of our events spaces: Kelley, Red River, Singer, Newton, and Bass — all were famous outlaws around Texas in the early 1800s until the 1900s. The city of Austin is often considered the outlaw of Texas, and these spaces capture the city’s rebellious nature. With city views, curated menus, expert planners, integrated technologies and flexible meeting venues, it’s our pleasure to host your next business function or special occasion. At Thompson Austin, we are committed to sustainable practices and are proud to be a LEED Silver certified hotel.
