The Tea Lounge is an elegant all-day lounge for lunch or dinner. Located in a heritage-listed building with scenic garden views, guests can savor classic, seasonal dishes and beverages utilising local produce. Known for its famed afternoon high tea set, it has been a place of celebration and connection for 100 years and the perfect place to catch up with friends, family and colleagues.

Indulge in our famed three-tier High Tea stands with a delectable array of finger sandwiches, savoury items, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam, and an assortment of house-made pastries and cakes.
For close to a century The Tea Lounge has been a revered place for special occasions, serving birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers and our beloved Mother’s Day High Tea.
A 10% surcharge will apply on Sundays, and a 15% surcharge will apply for all public holidays

Indulge in our famous traditional afternoon tea stands with an array of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam and cream, and a selection of tempting cakes and slices.
Hours: Thursday to Sunday: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM & 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Thursday and Friday: $79 per person | $50 per child (6-12 years)
Saturday and Sunday: $85 per person | $50 per child (6-12 years)

Valentine’s Day Dinner Under the Stars
Treat your loved one to a romantic dinner under the stars, set in the historic gardens of the iconic Hyatt Hotel Canberra.
Enjoy a five-course sharing menu, including a complimentary cocktail on arrival and live music.
Saturday 14 February from 6:00pm – 8:30pm.

From 7 days up to 72 hours before your booking: A 50% cancellation fee will apply.
Within 72 hours of your booking: A 100% cancellation fee will apply, and no refund can be provided.

Guests are now able to take home a selection of our elegant house-made gateaux.
These cakes will be available daily from 12pm – 10pm at the Tea Lounge.
