Don't Come here if you plan on bringing guests
If you're planning on meeting anyone in Cartagena and not adding them to your guest list, then don't stay here. They want to know the complete name and ID of anyone who is staying at check in. If you don't have that information, they will tell you to rent another room to bring a guest. I would suggest that they have a small fee for a guest, but telling you to rent another room is unacceptable.

Cartagena with hyatt is fantastic.
I was impressed with the quality of the hotel and especially the service. It completely exceeded expectations, making you not even want to leave the hotel to go to the beach, for example. The experience was fantastic.

Excellent experience
I loved everything there. Good place, good food and very nice people. Very clean. I had no issues with the check in and check out.

Staff need to do their work
The hotel is very good situated. Cleaning and service are their attributes. I didn't give the 5 start only because the check in lady made us wait without a reason.

Recommend to stay
Very nice hotel. I have no complaints. Good location. Clean and no outside or inside noise. I liked the bathroom set up because it gives more privacy.

Wonderful stay in Cartegena
The customer service was great and the suite was clean and comfortable. The views from our suite were breathtaking. I love the multi level pool options and the proximity to the beach and shopping. We had a great experience in Cartegena.

A disappointing experience in Cartagena
This hotel was a disappointment. Our suite was dirty and had a mildew smell. They upcharged for having three guests in a two bedroom suite (with three beds.) The view is nice, but the beach across the street is public and not a great attraction. Check-in was long and I had to sign multiple documents including a waiver for having the balcony opened, even though no one ever came to open it for us. The hotel generally had interesting smells on different floors. Depending on your room location you have to go to multiple elevator banks which can be time consuming and confusing at first.The pools have nice views and are a highlight for the hotel.

Regarding occupancy charges, room allocations and rates are based on the number of registered guests and the conditions of each reservation. While we are sorry that some aspects of your visit fell short of expectations, we are pleased to know that you enjoyed the views and that our pool areas were a highlight of your stay. Great hotel stay!
Great hotel. Attentive staff and helpful staff. Hitel was well kept. Stayed in an Executive Regency suite which had the best views of the Caribbean sea and the bay! Close to everything that you want to see and do. I would definitely stay here again.

This is honestly one of the best hotels I've ever been to. Amenities were great: pool, restaurant, rooms everything was properly maintained. No area ever felt too crowded. Decor was beautiful! Seevice was impeccable 👌

Best birthday trip
Amazingly diverse hotel with a little bit of something for everyone. There was an abode of amenities as a regency member I enjoyed the VIP feel and the room/view was IMPECCABLE

Enjoyable
Hotel is beautiful. The Staff was exceptional. Bed was very comfortable. Elevator security was excellent. Pool lounge chairs in the water great idea!

Great view, great city, weird minibar.
The in-room ‘minibar’ was not obviously a minibar. In the full size fridge-freezer there was one can of beer, one bottle of coke, lots of bottles of water - no obvious price list - (turns out there was a QR code hidden in a cupboard next to the fridge), so all water taken turned out to be chargeable. For a family of 4 there were only 4 x 600ml bottles of water provided per day in a city that is permanently at 31-33 centigrade. It’s really annoying when we tip happily at the pool bars etc that we get caught out for taking water from the ‘minibar’ and charged accordingly. Don’t get me wrong, the hotel is amazing, great pools, helpful staff, but this felt like a reallly cheap misstep from them and left a sour taste at checkout. Would I go again? Yes, but would ensure we kept calling to housekeeping for ‘free’ water.

Nice Stay
It was a great stay and I look forward to rebooking with them soon. I know only 10 words of Spanish but I never felt helpless because they know enough English to keep things operating smoothly. Location was great. Breakfast had enough choices to satisfy. Rooms are nice.

This hotel is in a great location, close to all the tourist attractions. A mall is located right next to the hotel with good food, shopping, and entertainment. My partner and I enjoyed our stay. If you speak English only, make sure to have a translator app ready because most of the staff only spoke Spanish.
