good location around darling harbor. great place for a run and close to fish market which was the highlight of the area. There are many places around the area that you can go see and eat. also has the wharf that allows you to go anywhere.

The hotel was well located, clean rooms and comfortable bed. We arrived well ahead of check in time and were granted early access to our room with very friendly service.

Excellent Location and Friendly Staff
Great location right in the heart of Darling Harbour and close to the city. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were amazing and extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Great reasonably priced city centre Hyatt property
great city centre location close to china town and central station. Easy access from and to the airport via the airport rail link. Excellent staff, nice rooms

Great Labour Day Long Weekend
We always stay at the Hyatt always a fantastic experience and love the location as we had an event at Bungalow 8 and friends had their boat at the Marina

Great stay, no complaints, but wasn't blown away.
The customer service, cleanliness, hotel facilities (conference rooms and roof top bar) were all excellent. I paid $350 including a corporate discount for a king room without the harbour view. Very nice, but very basic average sized room. No huge complaints as such but for that price I probably expected it to feel a bit more luxurious. Location was excellent.

Average view and customer service
It lacks customer service. We told them repeatedly that we were there for a birthday celebration but they completely ignored that fact and didn’t care about it. I was travelling from Melbourne with my elderly parents and a 13 years old son. They couldn’t care less although we requested them to give us both the rooms on the same floor but it wasn’t given. The breakfast was great but the views were below average.

Like all Hyatt Hotels, the Hyatt Regency delivered high standard accommodation and service. Excellent location, walking distance to Darling Harbour, CBD shops and Light Rail to Circular Quay.

City Hotel with views
Good hotel in convenient location. Easy access to Darling, Harbour, Restaurants and bars, China Town, Thai Town, and the harbour. Rooms are spacious. Rooftop bar is a must during sunset, and breakfast has a good selection.

The hospitality of the staff is excellent. The hotel is located in the centre of Sydney make us easy to explore the city. I love the atmosphere and also the warm greetings from the hotel staff.

Try too hard
I was charged breakfast buffet despite checking in at 1 pm on day one. On both occasions, serving staff cleared and cleaned my table ready for the next diner despite I had my napkin on the chair and cutlery on my plate to show I was not finished eating.

Don’t use their laundry service
The room was nice enough. But when we ordered the overpriced laundry service, they returned the clothes to our room and then left the door open. Anyone could have walked in and stolen our things. I would have expected service like this at Motel 6, not the Hyatt Regency.

Poor experience
Did not respond to guest service requests. Requested an early check in prior to our stay to accommodate my daughter's birthday party, but upon arrival was told no early check in at all and we would have to wait until 3pm for room.

Excellent stay
Fab location although parking is in a non-hotel car park, so expensive and busy. It's a conference hotel so many people were staying when we were there. It was quite noisy.
