Making the most of the pure honey from a local apiary near the Ten Thousand Buddhas Monstery in Sha Tin, Pastry Chef Kelvin Lai of Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin has created two signature pastries that exude the original flavours of natural honey.
Sha Tin Apple Pie
Adding a creative twist to the traditional recipe, our chefs use both Granny Smith green apples and red apples, which are enhanced with Sha Tin honey to complement the natural flavour of the apples.
Sha Tin Honey Cake
Baked in a tailor-made wooden base using a traditional method by our chefs, the Sha Tin Honey Cake is an all-time favourite that is exquisitely airy and exudes the original flavours of natural honey.
