General FAQ
We’re located at 50 3rd Street, in the heart of San Francisco’s SoMa district, just steps from the Moscone Center, Union Square, and SFMoMa.
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM. Room keys will expire on your departure day. For late checkout inquiries, please call the Front Desk. Please note that there is a charge for rooms occupied past checkout time.
Arrangements can be made to store your luggage as needed with our Bell Services or Front Desk
Early check-in and late check-out requests are based on availability. World of Hyatt members may receive priority consideration. Please note an Early Check-in and Check-out Fee may apply.
Yes. Our front desk team is available 24 hours a day to assist with check-in, transportation, and local recommendations. You may also use our digital concierge service.

Take advantage of convenient valet parking. To drop off your vehicle, please go to the main hotel entrance. When you're ready to retrieve your vehicle, bring your valet ticket to the Valet Desk. The valet fee is $75. Oversize is $85. Hours: Open 24 hours daily. Dial: Ext. 0 or (415) 974-6400.

Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA allows pets under 50 pounds. Guests who wish to bring their furry friend to our pet-friendly hotel are required to complete the pet waiver form, and a nonrefundable $150 pet cleaning fee (for stays up to six nights) will be charged. Any stay seven nights or longer will incur an additional $100 deep cleaning fee. These fees are non-refundable.

Guests may receive and ship packages through the hotel. A $6 handling fee is charged per box that weighs six pounds or more. The hotel accepts packages no more than five days prior to guest arrival; name on packages must match the name of the registered hotel guest.

We offer a range of 686 modern guest rooms and suites, including Premier Rooms, Corner Rooms, and Premium Suites, with floor to ceiling windows and many with gorgeous San Francisco skyline views. Please note: not all of our rooms have views of the city.
Connecting rooms may be available upon request, subject to availability at check-in.

Yes, we do have rollaway beds. They may only be added to our King bedrooms and suites, at an additional cost. Based on availability.
World of Hyatt Globalists and guests who have purchased a room with club access can enjoy access to our Regency Club Lounge. This exquisite Private Cub is available 24/7 and will feature amenities to include locally inspired Food and Beverage offerings, evening drinks and hors d'oeuvres service and a dedicated Host to provide any personal assistance. Located on the first floor past La Societe.
We offer complimentary high-speed internet in all guestrooms and public spaces. Simply select @Hyatt_Guestroom and follow prompts to sign in to the network.
No, but all rooms do have a beverage cooler. If you need a fridge for any reason, please inquire at the front desk.
Yes, room delivery is available during select hours. Choose from our lobby Market’s menu, thoughtfully prepared and packaged in convenient to-go containers. Menus are available in the Hyatt app or our digital concierge service.
Our breakfast buffet can be included with specific room packages and is available for purchase at La Societe at the Lobby Level.

Our communal workspace provides high-speed internet access and printing. This space is in our lobby and available 24 hours a day. Our Regency Club Lounge may also be used for work and is available to all our World of Hyatt Globalists as well as guests who have purchased a room with club access.
Yes, next day laundry service is available Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Items need to be picked up by 8:00 AM daily for the next day return.
Luggage service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Luggage to be retrieved from your room within 15 minutes of calling the Front Desk. Please note this is temporary storage of luggage, please use caution regarding valuables.

For your convenience, we have an ATMs located on the 1st floor between the elevator bay and The Market.
Ice machines are located on each guestroom floor next to the emergency staircase. Water refill stations are also located on each guestroom floor next to the emergency staircase. Additionally, we have water stations in the lobby, fitness center and meeting room space.
For the safekeeping of your valuables, we provide complimentary electronic in-room safes in each guestroom. Operating instructions to store your valuables during your stay can be found on the outside door of the safe. Upon your departure, please be sure to leave the door of the safe open. You can stream Netflix®, HBO GO®, YouTube® and more than 1,000 other apps from your mobile device to your in-room TV thanks to Staycast!

Parking, Travel & Transportation
Please take advantage of our convenient valet parking. To drop your vehicle off, please go to the main hotel entrance. When you're ready to retrieve your vehicle, bring your valet ticket to the Valet Desk. The valet fee is $75. Oversize is $85. Open 24 hours daily. The hotel does not assume liability for loss or damage to guests’ property or vehicle. Do not leave valuables in your vehicle and parking is at your own risk.
We have electric vehicle charging available with valet parking at no additional cost. Should you like to charge your car, let our valet team know when dropping off your car.

The Market, conveniently located on the Lobby Level by the elevators is open daily from 6:30AM – 9PM for locally sourced quick bites, pizzas and grab-n-go items, as well as fresh coffee from our partners, Equator Coffee.
Yes! Our La Societe Lobby Bar is open daily from 4PM – 11PM for light bites and drinks. Choose from the classics or try our delicious specialty cocktails crafted by our dedicated Beverage Manager, Engracio.
