I have stayed in SanAntonio a number of times in the past in so very nice hotels. The Hyatt Regency River Walk by far is a favorite. It has beautiful room’s exceptional clean and service was great.

Great location and a clean hotel. Would come back to this hotel if we are ever in San Antonio again. Our only negative comment would be that there was staff in the lobby trying to sell us on their vacation club whenever they got the chance to talk to us. We just want to enjoy our time/vacation and not be sold on their timeshare.

As a loyal World of Hyatt Globalist member, my family and I have always chosen **Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk** whenever we visit the San Antonio River Walk. This hotel has consistently been our preferred place to stay, which makes our most recent experience particularly disappointing. **1. Lack of Globalist Recognition and Benefits** Upon arrival, the front desk failed to acknowledge my Globalist status, explain my membership benefits, or offer a room upgrade. While I understand that upgrades are subject to availability, I expected a proper welcome and recognition as a loyal returning guest. **2. Serious Housekeeping Failure – Previous Guest's Clothes Left on the Bed** When we entered our assigned room, we were shocked to find clothing belonging to the previous guest still lying on the bed. This raised serious concerns about whether the room had been properly cleaned and inspected before being assigned to us. When we reported the issue, the staff offered complimentary breakfast, a benefit we already receive as Globalist members. We initially only wanted fresh, clean bedsheets, but ultimately had to insist on being moved to another room. **Finding a previous guest's belongings on the bed is completely unacceptable and represents a serious failure in housekeeping and room inspection procedures.** **3. Noise Disturbance at 2 AM** Our stay was further disrupted by significant noise around 2 AM, making it difficult to sleep and enjoy a comfortable night. **4. Valet Parking – Over One Hour Wait** We also experienced an extremely frustrating valet parking experience, waiting more than an hour for our vehicle. **5. Major Valet Security Concern – Vehicle Registered Under Another Person's Name** The most alarming issue was discovering that the previous valet shift had registered my vehicle under another person's name and phone number. This was far more than a simple administrative mistake. It created a serious potential security risk, as the incorrect registration information could have complicated vehicle ownership verification and potentially allowed an unauthorized person to request my car. I cannot understand how such a significant mistake could happen at a hotel entrusted with safeguarding guests' vehicles. **Special Thanks to Armando and Justin** Despite these serious issues, I would like to recognize two outstanding employees. **Armando from Valet Parking** demonstrated exceptional professionalism. He personally helped locate my vehicle, identified the incorrect registration information, and corrected my name and phone number. His dedication and attention to detail helped resolve a potentially serious security issue. He truly deserves recognition from hotel management. **Justin at the front desk** also deserves special appreciation. He professionally handled my check-in and answered my phone call around 10 PM. He was the only front desk employee who demonstrated the level of professionalism and guest service I expect from Hyatt. **Final Thoughts** Every time my family visits San Antonio River Walk, we choose Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk. We have continued returning because of our trust in the Hyatt brand. Unfortunately, this stay has seriously damaged that trust. Finding a previous guest's clothing on the bed and discovering that my vehicle was registered under a stranger's identity are **two major operational failures that should never happen at a hotel of this caliber.** I sincerely hope the General Manager personally reviews these incidents, investigates the housekeeping and valet procedures, and takes meaningful corrective action. While Armando and Justin deserve genuine recognition for their outstanding professionalism, the overall experience fell far below the standards expected of Hyatt Regency. **As a loyal Globalist member and repeat guest, I expected much better from a hotel we have consistently chosen and trusted.**

Location is right on the river, and convenient. Love the river running into the building. Unfortunately room noise is very loud and makes it hard to sleep at night.

Perfect location, everything you want to do is right out the front or back doors. Amazing view of the historic Alamo and friendly helpful staff, clean and modern rooms with a refrigerator so you can grab some cheaper beverages although adult drinks aren’t unreasonable.

Nice location for Alamo, conventional and River Walk. Nice room with clean and comfy Max. The breakfast was good and tasty. All staff friendly as like I am just back to home. What a nice USA experience.

The location was nice as the river walk is right outside hotel. However, there is not parking on site and you should know that per day parking is anywhere between $45-$75 per day. That price on top of the $200 plus you will pay per night for your room is just not worth it. For the overall expense, it's not like it was that great of a hotel. The food on site is average at best. Room service staff were great though and we were thankful for them.

My overall experience at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk met my expectations. What stood out the most was the beautiful location right along the Riverwalk and the convenience of being within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the hotel provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This hotel is right on the river. There is a great restaurant on the bottom floor (it is also a cigar bar!) The bottom floor opens up into Alamo Plaza and there is a Starbucks right across the street. The bed was (as my wife said) next level. I usually do not like hotel beds but this bed was more comfortable than my own bed.

The location is great; right on the river walk. The room was nice but lacked any type of dresser where you can unpack your bag and store your clothing. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The downside of the location is that you can hear Everything from the street below and the activities on the river on the weekend are loud.

We stayed here for the Iron Maiden concert. Everything went perfectly, and the location can't be beat. We walked back from the Alamo Dome and it only took us maybe 15 mins. The hotel is clean, updated, fun, and everyone is very friendly. It's right at the heart of the riverwalk so you can just park and walk across the street to the Alamo, the mall, the Majestic Theater or a short walk to Hemisphere Park. I will stay here again.

A great place to stay, I've stayed at this location several times in the past and I have to say this is the best location in San Antonio.

Once again, my stay here was exceptional in every way! This is a wonderful facility with the most amazing staff. I will continue to make this my hotel of choice for business or pleasure traveling!

Excellent hotel. Good location. Fun open concept with the rooms facing each other in a covered building. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

My wife and I had a great time at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk. The rooms were clean, the staff was nice, and the location was great for various activities to do along the Riverwalk. I highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in San Antonio.

First, the Hyatt Regency has the best location in San Antonio. It’s centrally located on the Riverwalk and a short walk from everything in town such as the the Alamo, Tower of the Americas, Briscoe Museum, and Buckhorn Saloon/Museum. Second, the hotel staff is awesome. From the second we arrived we were warmly greeted by hotel valets who were always extremely prompt retrieving our car for the duration of the stay. The front desk manager who checked us in recognized our Hyatt status, had our room ready even though we were checking in 4 hours early. We were given a suite upgrade as well which was surprising since we were using free night certificates to pay for the stay. The 4pm late checkout we were given meant that we effectively had 3 days to sightsee on a two night stay. Our suite was immaculately cleaned by staff each day of our stay. The morning breakfast buffet was generous and diverse featuring an omelet station, southwestern scrambled eggs, various pastries, gourmet doughnuts, fresh fruit, hot oatmeal, bacon /sausage, cheese, various smoked meats, and yogurt. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay here and appreciate the hard work of all the staff members who contributed to our wonderful experience.

Great Stay close to our venue at Devils River, Easy to walk out and have plenty to do and get our walks in. Right on the River walk and restaurants. Very Open and spacious. Staff was on point! Check in and departure was very efficient.

By far, favorite spot on the Riverwalk!! Right in the middle of everything, and walking distance to Rivercenter Mall, Ripley's and The Alamo. Beautiful views, especially from the rooftop pool.. and the beds are super comfy!!

Positives: room is clean and comfortable, pool is warm and inviting-love the location, access to Riverwalk outside the back lobby, staff is amazing and goes above and beyond! Negatives: outdated so not super accessible for those with disabilities, HVAC system overhead covered in mold and dripping, hotel restaurant is way overpriced and not great service (I would opt for the Mexican restaurant in the lower level on the river walk). Despite this I loved my stay and highly recommend the hotel. You won’t find better staff anywhere and the location is nestled between the Riverwalk and the Alamo.

Location was great!- would stay again if going back - double check bill tho. Got charged for parking but didn’t have a car
