Additionally, we are committed to managing our environmental and social impact through responsible practices, supported by internationally recognized standards and certifications such as ISO 14001 and TCEB’s Sustainable Event Management Standard. We are also proud to be a Green Key certified property.

We use Hyatt EcoTrack to track sustainability metrics including greenhouse gas emissions, energy, water, waste, and recycling. These insights are important to help advance efficiency improvements. We have implemented energy-efficient measures such as LED lighting in guest facing areas, automated dimming based on seasonal changes, and electric heat pump systems that reduce carbon emissions.

To minimize single-use plastic, the resort has introduced wooden key cards and transitioned to large format bathroom amenities and dry amenities made from sustainable materials like corn starch. Laundry items are returned without plastic covers, and reusable glass bottles are the standard for serving water in guestrooms, meetings, and events. Hydration stations around the swimming pool further support this initiative. Paper straws are available upon request, and all restaurants use non-plastic or biodegradable packaging for takeaway orders.

The resort is dedicated to responsible sourcing and sustainable food practices. We serve fresh cage-free eggs across all restaurants. We emphasize sourcing seafood from suppliers certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC). We prioritize locally sourced ingredients and grow our own herbs and garnishes, tended by in-house gardeners using compost produced on site. We have implemented a food waste management system to manage food waste in kitchens. Food waste is repurposed for use on farms while surplus edible food is donated to the Scholars of Sustenance Foundation (SOS Thailand), helping nourish communities and reduce food waste.

Embracing care at the heart of our business, Hyatt Regency Hua Hin is committed to preserving natural resources through numerous efforts including a campaign to encourage picking up litter when visiting the beach.
We actively support the Baan Khao Takiap Crab Bank in their efforts to release young crabs back into the ocean, helping sustain marine life.
Our team also participates in regular beach and street clean-up activities within the local community, reinforcing our dedication to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
