Beautiful Views
Great overall experience. Friendly staff, and having the restaurant was a bonus. It's a great location across from the Charles River. Easy to walk to Boston University and a short drive to Cambridge Commons.
Excellent property in an ideal location, backed by just perfect services across the board.
This property is just ideal if you can bare the cost (can be very high in high demand season). The rooms are amazing, particularly the river facing ones, as the sunrise is just splendid from the rooms facing it, the Paperback restaurant always delivers excellent service and high quality food, the bar feels like an unpretentious and super casual lounge and the shuttle service makes one’s life so much easier going around town at every waking hour. I stayed here about 6 times already and I am convinced I am going to come back still.
Good hotel near MIT
Nice hotel. Very well located. Staff was friendly. Check in and check out easy and practical. I didn't like the price os the parking. And they wanted an extra 10 dollars for electric chargers.
Wonderful Hotel Stay
As expected, we enjoyed another wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency. Highly recommend this Cambridge MA hotel for city views comfort and cleanliness.
Perfect River and University location
The location was perfect on the river right across from BU campus. We were staying in the area to tour BU and walk the surrounding area. The front desk was pleasant and offered waters as we left each day on our walk through the city. One day it was a bit rainy and they had umbrellas there for us to use.
Amazing stay
Quick check-in, complimentary upgrade, and flexibility with checkout. The room was clean, and the view we had was beautiful! We really appreciated the extra touches that made our stay even better.
Great Stay For Fenway
Checked in last minute very late around 3 AM after a long drive in. Staff was so friendly and accomodating. Room was clean and nice. Kids had a great time and breakfast was outstanding both days. So close to Fenway Park

Nice but not connected
Nice hotel along a river. Not close to many attractions or restaurants for walking convenience. Not that close to train connections. The hotel does provide an area shuttle which is helpful for getting around.

Everything was just Wonderful !!! The tent for the cermony was lovley ,gardens so pretty the views were unbelivable. Food and staff perfect.

Great place to stay!
Great hotel with very convenient location to MIT/Harvard. Have been renovated within the last few years so room feels clean and fresh. Staff were very friendly, especially Bethany, she was super kind to address my unique needs, such as getting me chilled water, requesting late checkout and extending my stay for 1 night. Overall the stay exceeded my expectations and would love to come back again.

Okay Room, Solid Overall Experience for the Price
The view was great. Ceilings are low and the rooms themselves are not impressive. Staff were extremely accmdating and the resturant and other ammenities are solid. Shuttle was out.

Very comfortable stay
Clean and convenient. Very helpful staff. We visited with family as my son was starting college. Its location is very convenient if u r going to Harvard, MIT or Boston! the hotel has a shuttle to move around and that was awesome. food - tavern is good. though menu is limite.d Overall highly recommended.

Great staff. Hotel needs some maintenance.
Great location for MIT and BU (short walk across the BU Bridge). Great view across the river and overall a nice location. Hotel is a bit dated, but clean and generally functional. AC system in our room had an issue but it was quickly resolved by the staff. Front revolving door was broken when we stayed, and it looks like it has been for some time. Hopefully they fix it before winter. Staff was super helpful and went above and beyond during our stay. Did not use the restaurant or bar so I cannot comment on those.

I am a returning guest since 2012 and that explains alot! Staff, location! Food, cleanliness!, spacious rooms, attentiveness to details.

Amazing Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge
I had an absolute amazing experience staying at this hotel, and a huge part of that was the incredible staff at the valet parking. From the moment I arrived, they were extremely welcoming, professional, and efficient. They truly went above and beyond to make my stay special. Exceptional service like this is rare, and I will definitely be back. Thank you to the wonderful team!

Better to stay elsewhere
Outdated hotel, run down and old! Everything about this place was disappointing. From the facilities to food, it cried cheap. I would categorize this hotel as an overpriced motel. Hyatt please preserve your reputation and update this hotel to at least 2000’s. Also on top of this, don’t charge additional fees that were not disclosed when booking like a secret ‘destination’ charge.

The staff were all so friendly. In particular, Mamello, who helped us check in, listened attentively to us and anticipated our needs. Her warm and attentive customer service was truly impressive—so much so that I made a point to double-check her name. The room condition was excellent, the view overlooking the Charles River was breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. We had no idea Boston would be this amazing, and our family completely fell in love with Boston, especially Cambridge. We will definitely visit again, and when we do, we will stay at the Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge once more. This was all thanks to Mamello, and we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to her. Additionally, we really appreciated the generous supply of complimentary bottled water, the convenient parking facilities, and the ample seating areas in the lobby to relax.

almost the perfect Hyatt....
Location is perfect. Beautiful view if you're able to book or get upgraded to a river view room. The staff is courteous. The shuttle is a WONDERFUL perk. I do wish they had a dedicated roped off line leading to a dedicated World of Hyatt express check in person.

Disappointed
Completely dissatisfied. Apparently booking a room and prepaying it do not guarantee you will get the room. No apologies No concessions.

Best hotel in cambridge
Joshua front desk guy was awesome. Loved my stay! Seemed clean and attentive. Quaint area - faced the river and was so pretty!
