Less than I expected
I have to caveat this review with the fact that I did book it through a group rate for a conference. But, when I booked it, there was no mention that the room did not include the breakfast that comes listed with the room booking on the website. All the QR codes and the website language also told me that if I had forgotten anything, I could ask Guest Services about borrowing or being given an assortment of daily items. I did not expect that getting a few cotton swabs or lotion would be a luxury that I couldn't get standard in my room or when asked. Guest Services staff seemed confused that I was asking them for anything. They referred me to the front desk, who referred me to Guest Services. I was given a room in the Radius Tower, which is probably one of the older parts of the hotel. I could hear the toilets flushing in the rooms above me and around me. It also has one of the most dismal views of a courtyard, looking at all the other rooms windows--as such, I didn't bother to open the curtains for privacy's sake, even though the small officetel type room already felt dismal with a lack of lighting. The room was decent, but I didn't appreciate that they placed bottles of water in my room that I wasn't allowed to have unless I were in the Elite membership tier (I wasn't). The clothes hangers had sticky food residue on them. The HVAC unit is old and loud, and the room was either too hot or too cold most of the time. Based on the grand lobby and the beautiful fitness center, I was pretty disappointed that my room was so uninviting. I also find it frustrating that the only fill stations I found for reusable water bottles was in the fitness center and not all around the hotel. There wasn't even one in the conference area downstairs. All in all, it was a decent room, but I expected more from Hyatt. This is the second Hyatt property that has been pretty lackluster, and I'm not keen on paying more for what ended up being a not-so-great experience.

Temper your Expectations
I generally stay with a different brand and I've come to expect certain amenities such as a microwave in the room, pen and paper by the phone, a TV remote. None of these were in the room although upon request a TV remote was provided. The coffee maker was tempermental and I was too without my coffee. Housekeeping was excellent and the restaurant "Sway" was very good for a solo diner. Compared with other hotels in the vicinity, Hyatt Regency is not a good value.

Overpriced hotel for no reason.
Beautiful hotel but that’s about it. My room wasn’t cleaned properly which made staying feel very gross. I would have been better off bringing my own cleaning products. Food was also terrible and overpriced. Not quality for the price.

Underwhelming
Overall a nice hotel and the lobby is obviously stunning, but the rooms themselves are a little lackluster. Shower was a little moldy, towels are very rough, side lamp flickered when turned on, view from balcony looked directly into an air shaft and another hotel. For ~350/night I can’t say I would recommend. Staff however were very nice.

Conference Hotel
I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference there. The beds are firm, so very comfortable. Good selection on the pillows, not all were extremely thick. Room was extremely clean and had a nice layout. Staff were very helpful, especially the first day when getting orientated.

Great location but outdated. Valet's overkill
You could walk to most places if needed so if you're doing a staycation find somewhere to leave our vehicle. $55 for valet and I believe around $30 to park and go (but pay reentry) is all overkill. I equate it to Frontier or something. The room is a decent prices, but by the time you tag on parking and other amenities...you might as well pay for a suite!

Terrible concierge ridiculously short beds
The concierge would not assist me with a local reservation and told me "um so it's called open table.com" My room was switched 3x because none of the beds were longer than 75 inches and my partner is 75 inches tall. Even the "king" was only 75 inches because it was actually 2 twin box springs shoved together.

Great option for stay close to downtown Atlanta fi you are not carrying a car!
Great ambience, helpful staff and super clean and comfortable rooms. Food was good with wonderful service. Great option if you are looking to stay in Atlanta downtown and don't have a car. Only downside, they are picking your pocket in valet parking as there are no self parking option.

Thermostat too intelligent.
I have been staying at this hotel since 1991. However in this current stay I discovered thermostat settings are changed, without your knowledge, from control room! I asked their maintenance man why. Apparently it’s supposed to be saving energy at night. Question is do you save energy by blowing outside air continuously at night. Does this save energy?
