Room was clean but the bed was so uncomfortable that I slept on the floor. You could feel the springs and it caved it the middle.

The best hotel in the area. What a truly wonderful location, and the staff was exceptionally courteous. The attention to detail was outstanding, and the beds were very comfortable.

Decent place overall, but the AC/Furnace in the rooms is motion activated. So the hotel wanted to save a few bucks on electricity, but I could not sleep because the AC kept turning off through the night. You have to physically get out of bed to go near the switch by the door for it to turn back on. One of the worst nights sleep I’ve had. It’s really basic that a hotel should be able to provide you with a good nights sleep. This one does not. I will not return to this location. The rooms were also a bit dated, and the sink in the room would not drain.

A very nice hotel not too far from Kauffman stadium and five minutes from Joes Kansas City BBQ. Clean rooms, great breakfast at an affordable price. Perfect hotel for fans traveling to see the Royals play.

It was a super clean, Staff wordfriendly and it was a tremendously easy check-in. They even have a Starbucks in the lobby for all the coffee drinkers.

I stay here every time I come into town for work. Which is about every other month. These days to be able to check off the following boxes for a hotel is rare: Breakfast included, GOOD breakfast too. Clean breakfast area, parking included, feel safe, super nice staff, nice little bar area, clean rooms, rooms that are set up with a mini kitchen, a desk for working so i don't have to kill my back trying to work from my bed, vanity area is outside the area where the toilet is which is nice if your traveling with someone. This place is perfect for the price. Its always under $200/night. ONLY complaint is the space to open the door in the toilet/shower room. If you have a shower mat down on the floor and try to open the door it always gets stuck and so hard to unstick. and trying to close the door to use the toilet you need to nearly hop on top of the toilet to shut the door. its annoying. not annoying enough to hate it though. This is the spot to stay!

The front desk staff were kind and welcoming. My room was clean and quiet. The location was safe and I didn't hear any highway traffic or purple stomping around above me. The breakfast was much better than most hotel breakfasts, definitely an upgrade. Also, thankfully, no annoying flashing smoke detector.

While looking at the pics before arrival, I was not overly excited as it looked like an older Hyatt. Came for business meetings. Upon arrival, clean hotel located in a great area, close to so many amenities. The rooms were very spacious and clean. I really liked the layout of the sink and spacious king room. Housekeeping take their job seriously and front desk meet your needs. Breakfast was my only con - same thing served daily and one gets tired if having a longer stay eating the same thing. Overall, I would return and recommend this hotel for your stay. Meeting room coffee served by hotel was great. Pool was currently under construction.

What's the point of Hyatt offering a scheduled checkout if housekeeping comes in the room beforehand???? They clearly don't communicate with their staff because I got the following response: "I apologize for the inconvenience of housekeeping bothering you when you have advised you do not want service. However, we are required to do a daily safety check for all rooms." Hyatt lost a customer for life; my pregnant wife was in the room.

Very nice! Clean and well maintained. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Really nice bathroom/shower. Very safe neighborhood.

We had a very positive stay at Hyatt Place Kansas City/Overland Park/Convention Center. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming from the moment we arrived. The front desk team was professional, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping our room clean and comfortable. The location was convenient, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. We especially appreciated the staff’s attention to detail and commitment to making our stay pleasant. We would gladly stay here again and recommend this hotel to others visiting the area.

The Hyatt brand is great and this hotel was clean staff were friendly but they do not let you control the air-conditioning below 68° which was inconvenient. If I’m paying to stay in a hotel room I should be allowed to adjust the air-conditioning as cold as I want and the heat as hot as I want.

Anticipated needs and were accommodating. Elite continental breakfast! Rooms were spacious and clean. Had key cards ready upon arrival for smooth check in process

stayed here to go to a Chiefs game. this hotel was excellent! convenient location to the stadium, clean and quiet, friendly staff, great breakfast with lots of good options, and plenty of parking. room was spacious and had nice touches, like an extra sink and mirror outside the bathroom and outlets by the bed. very nice!

The hotel was fine. It was a nice touch to have a small bar area with food available. However, the staff was rude at check-in and were not empathetic when our daughter was stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes while she waited for the fire department to get her out. They also refused to offer any type of compensation for the inconvenience of not having working elevators for the remainder of the stay (our group was on the 5th and 6th floors).

Never had a hotel not open breakfast earlier during a softball tournament. Multiple teams staying there and they would not open breakfast up 15 min early. So players could get food before their games. 11 years and never had this happen

Professional, fun and helpful. All my needs were met. Even the help I received after I forgot an important item in my room.

I was greeted by a great and helpful staff right at the start. I would definitely return for another stay. It was all around a great experience.

We stay here when we travel to KU Medical Center. It’s easy to get anywhere from this quiet location. Very nice hotel that was renovated last year, although it was nice before.
