Housekeeping Policy
The safety, wellness and well-being of our guests and colleagues is our top priority. In an effort to respect our guests’ privacy and ensure their comfort, we have adjusted standard daily housekeeping services to provide service every fourth day during your stay.
Daily housekeeping service can be requested at the hotel during check-in or by calling the host stand 24 hours in advance for service the next day.
In an effort to ensure your safety and well-being, periodic safety and well-being checks will still occur at Hyatt Place Kansas City/Overland Park/Convention Center.
Credit Card Policy
A valid credit card must be presented at the time of check-in. The card will be authorized for room, tax and an additional $25 per night for incidentals.
DEBIT CARD USERS: In addition to estimated room and tax, there is a $25 PER NIGHT authorization placed on your card at check-in to account for any incidental charges you may incur, including but not limited to food and beverage charges. Funds will be held as a pending charges and will be unavailable to you. Any unused authorization is released within 7–10 business days after check-out, depending on your banking institution.
Minimum Age Policy
The minimum age to reserve a guestroom is 18 years old. A person of the minimum age requirement must be present at check-in and become a registered guest in the room.
Pet Policy
Your four-legged friends are always welcome at Hyatt Place Kansas City/Overland Park/Convention Center. Please call the hotel in advance to let us know you’ll be bringing your dog.
Fees
- For guests staying 1–6 nights, a $100 nonrefundable pet fee plus taxes will be administered.
- For guests stay 7–30 nights, a $100 nonrefundable pet fee plus taxes and an additional $100 cleaning fee will be administered.
- For guests staying 30 nights or more, please contact the hotel.
Weight Limits
There is a maximum of two dogs with a combined weight of 75 pounds permitted per room. Individual dogs may not exceed 50 pounds. All dogs must be housebroken.
