Grand Hyatt Seoul
I have not been to this hotel in about 10 years. Since my last visit, the hotel has undergone renovations and upgrades throughout the facility, both indoors and outdoors. As a long-time returning guest, I got an upgraded room and access to the lounge. The service was impeccable, and the restaurants and bar area were very enjoyable. I even enjoyed the nice fall weather and took a morning hike in Namsan Park, right next to the hotel. The hotel is in a very quiet, exclusive part of Seoul, yet only a short taxi ride from fun areas like Itaewon and Myeongdong. I will start staying at the Grand Hyatt from here on.
Top-notch stay at the Grand Hyatt
Had an absolutely fantastic 2-night stay at the Grand Hyatt Seoul this October. I was worried that the location being a bit out of the central area of the city might be problematic but it ended up being an asset. It was so peaceful, with astounding views. The service was absolutely top-notch. And Uber taxis were not expensive so trips into the center were fairly cheap and easy. Being a Globalist with Hyatt, we had access to the lounge which had incredible breakfast and evening snacks spreads. I used a Globalist suite upgrade and the suite, while not super large, was very well-designed and had a wall of floor to ceiling windows all along one wall of both the bedroom and living room, which offered stunning views overlooking the city but which the blackout shades covered completely to allow a great night’s sleep. I would return in a heartbeat. And I have to give one more shout out to the team — every staff member I encountered, from the front desk, housekeeping, lounge and fitness center/spa was friendly, professional, and eager to please. They seemed to genuinely enjoy working there and serving guests. I’ve traveled most of the world and this was one of the best hotels I’ve experienced.

Wait at the gallery was over 3 hours. Bring your swim cap, or you are forced to buy one. No toothbrush. Dress nicely, some staff have different attitude towards humbly dressed individuals, lol.
Good views of Seoul from a high hotel.
The Grand Hyatt Seoul lived up to its reputation as one of the best hotels in Seoul with excellent service and rooms. The rooms had firm beds and unusually soft pillows. Generally I prefer firmer pillows. The views from the room are unmatched, due to the high location of the hotel in the Namsan Hills area. Unusually for Seoul, the toilets had no bidet attached. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of choices and coffee was even served to the table though there is a giant Nespresso machine available to use. One main drawback is the high location of the Hotel with steeper than usual roads leading to the hotel necessitating the use of the Hotel Shuttles and taxis. One good point is that Airport Limousine Bus 6702 stops directly in front of the hotel entrance, making for easy access to Incheon airport.

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had for Meetings and Conferecences. Everything was perfect. Staff and food was amazing!
First time in Seoul Korea
Great hotel location with comfortable rooms with excellent housekeeping. The restaurants were superb. Massive choice at breakfast which was of high quality.

Great get away for the weekend from busy Seoul! The room facing the river has great view of sunrise! The Teppan restaurant was super delicious! The lounge was nice and had good service. I wished the jazz bar had better music though for Friday night. Overall, great experience.
Always a pleasant stay
Been coming here 1-2 times / yr for the past 10 yrs and it's always been a pleasant stay! I think what sets this hotel apart is the staff- The staff really anticipates on your needs and are eager to help. Location is pretty central, although no direct access to a subway station - but taxi is fairly affordable. Much appreciated renovation of the Terrace cafe Paris bar is a hidden gem - visit for a drink or two while enjoying the performance to unwind for the night
Beautiful hotel
BEAUTIFUL hotel with a gorgeous view of Namsan tower. I was exceptionally excited about the beehives on site and then I completely forgot to ask to purchase local honey and I'm kicking myself for missing out. It's a very busy hotel with a very loud lobby, so it could be overstimulating for a lot of people. But upstairs is very quiet in the rooms, and the art gallery in the lower basement is not to be missed.
Amazing Hotel - one of a kind
Exception service, excellent all around. Can't find any issues with anything. Highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. Simply amazing.

Food was absolutely excellent the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have had. The service was exceptional and I would certainly stay here again for the excellent food and Namsan view.
Excellent stay with my parents
Everything was excellent for me and my parents. Every staff was so kind and supportive, food was delicious with healthy options and location was also perfect for us. Sophisticated hotel designs and facilities are providing us memorable experiences. I and my parents appreciate the staff there. We visit there every couple of years recently.
More than 40 years later and this Hyatt is still going strong
In 1985 this hotel was my first stay at a Hyatt Hotel. I fell in love with Hyatt Hotels and spent more than 20 years as a Diamond member. It was so gratifying to return to where it all started and to see my first Hyatt doing better than ever!

Wendy Kim and Adonis made this feel like home
We flew more than 20 hours to get to Grand Hyatt Seoul, and by the time the car pulled up I was done. Wendy Kim in Guest Relations had a limo waiting. The drivers were careful with the bags and just plain decent after a long flight. That alone would have been enough. She also had early check-in and late checkout set, and she upgraded us. The room was huge. Way more space than we expected. We ordered room service right after we got in and it felt like sitting in a steakhouse, except we were in robes in our own room. The club was the other thing I keep telling people about. Breakfast and the evening spread were excellent, and the staff treated it like they actually wanted you there. Adonis, Kim Hyun_Ung in SELRS, was the other one. He knew us by face and name, not just the reservation. Short conversations, a real smile, a couple of small gifts. Nothing forced. He was off near the end of the stay so we did not get to say goodbye in person, but he wrote back anyway. Little things added up. Fresh water at whatever temperature you wanted, and the dispenser plays a little tune when it is full, which my family thought was hilarious. Housekeeping was steady. Internet worked. Nobody made us feel like a room number.

Great Location next to Namsan Park
Grand Hyatt Seoul was an amazing stay. Great location. Eat Namsan Park for hiking and outdoor beauty but refined sophistication inside the hotel. Two pools and great changing rooms made the amenities very comfortable.

A Perfect Family Stay via FHR – Exceptional Service
We booked two rooms through the FHR program for a short getaway (Sep 29-30) to treat my mother, and the experience was absolutely flawless from start to finish. I want to give a massive shoutout to Raphaela Kim and Manager Dongsoo Kim at the front desk. They truly went above and beyond by upgrading our room and generously extending Club Lounge access to our second room so our family could enjoy everything together. Thanks to their thoughtful flexibility, my mother had an amazing and relaxing time. The Grand Club Lounge was fantastic—the food during the evening cocktails was delicious, and the breakfast buffet was just as great. I also have to highlight Naeun Kim at the deli shop for her incredibly warm and welcoming service. If you are looking for top-notch hospitality and a team that genuinely cares about your stay, I highly recommend this property!

great location
The hotel’s location and Namsan Mountain surroundings were wonderful, and as a Globalist, I truly appreciated the convenient lounge check-in away from the crowded main lobby. Our suite felt quite dated, but the exceptional hospitality from Yelim Chae(채예림) and Dahye Jang(장다혜) at the lounge made our stay special—their warm recognition and care embodied the best of Hyatt. However, being restricted to lounge breakfast unlike other Hyatt properties was disappointing, and having a water dispenser over bottled water raised minor cleanliness concerns. Great Hotel
Room was beyond my expectation. Breakfast was great with quality and the waiters were very accommodating. Front door staff were helpful. The shuttle bus runs on time every time. No complains.

This is not my first stay at Grand Hyatt Seoul, and it continues to be one of my favourite hotels in Seoul. The location is excellent, offering easy access to many areas of the city while providing beautiful views of Seoul. What stands out most is the professionalism, friendliness, and helpfulness of the staff. Throughout my stay, every team member was welcoming, attentive, and willing to assist whenever needed, which always makes the experience feel special. The hotel facilities, atmosphere, and overall service quality are consistently excellent, which is why I continue to return.

Ok 5 star hotel, but a overpriced for condition.
Somewhat ok location. Rooms are clean but furniture/walls are not maintained in line with other 4/5 star hotels. Apparently bidets aren’t standard either. Room had a water filtration system instead of plastic bottles, very nice feature!
