Stayed here many times when attending events downtown. Best downtown hotel. Parking way too expensive but same with any other major city.

Nice hotel, great staff
Overall a good experience, but be prepared for the noise from the nightclub next door when it closes. People and police everywhere and according to the security person in the lobby, it happens every Saturday (and perhaps Wednesday) night. If you get an outside room facing the nightclub, which we didn't even know was there, you may hear a lot of noise around midnight. Also, not many drawers in the rooms and only about 10 hangers so if you have more than one person and you are staying a while, you might not have enough space for everything to be in drawers.

Great atmosphere and great vibes
Clean, elegant, comfortable and inviting hotel. Being connected to the metro is a huge plus. Over night parking is a little expensive but not unreasonable and if you can walk a block you can park for about half price at the city center garage.

Great center city hotel
Great location, small details can be improved. Such as lack of vent in the bathroom, lack of automatic or rotated door in the temporary entrance. But other areas, such as room size, the condition of the furniture are all good.

Excellent experience
Wonderful experience for 4 nights and 5 days. I stayed here for a conference and would stay again. The amenities and service were top class. True hospitality. Restaurants were very high quality, and there's a Starbucks in the lobby for convenience. The gym was excellent for a hotel gym and very enjoyable after sitting in conferences all day. Location very central to all the top DC restaurants. I will stay here again. For business or pleasure.

Gluten intolerance mindful, family friendly
The grand club, the hostesses Nancy T, Jasmine T, and Mei were all amazing. They paid attention to our needs and were very mindful of food allergies particularly gluten intolerance I had. They were knowledgeable about the food and potential allergens it might contain and sought to ensure that things were clearly identified. Mei works the evening shift, and after the first day of our being there, she was quick to let me know of foods that were safe and foods to stay clear of due to my gluten intolerance. Nancy and Jasmine were very mindful and willing to assist especially for whatever we needed with our kids.

Nearby construction impacted my overall review, while it was not completely on the hotel staff, I didnt see any disclaimers on website tk prepare me for construction. Additionally a daily fee was added to my bill, and that was not disclosed either, manager said that is up the third party to disclose " take it up with them"

I attended a small business meeting here. The staff was exceptional and the room was great, especially the walk-out shower. The meeting food and servers were also excellent.

A Billion-Star Review. Every. Single. Time.
I’ve stayed at the Grand Hyatt Washington for about five years now, usually when I’m in D.C. for advocacy work, and somehow they manage to impress me every single time. Here’s the best way I can describe the service: I am decidedly NOT their billionaire customer. 😂 But you would never know it by the way I’m treated. This hotel has a remarkable way of making you feel like they’ve been waiting for you to come back. On my most recent stay, the hotel was in the middle of renovations AND handling the controlled chaos of a large convention arrival. Neither mattered. Check-in was friendly, efficient, and completely on point. When I returned to the desk later with a question, the staff member actually remembered me. There was also a member of the security staff who seemed to make it his personal mission to welcome people, remember them, and make everyone walking through those doors feel noticed. That kind of hospitality cannot be manufactured. The rooms? Impeccably clean. Always. The food? Fantastic. Always. The hotel? Safe, polished, professional, beautiful, and welcoming. Even during renovations, nothing interfered with the quality of the stay or the atmosphere of the hotel. That says a lot about how well this property is managed. But what keeps bringing me back isn't the building. It's the people. There is a difference between providing excellent service and making someone feel genuinely wanted as a guest. The Grand Hyatt Washington consistently does both. I travel to D.C. because there is work to do there, but walking into this hotel feels a little like arriving somewhere that already knows me. Five years of visits, and I have never felt like “just another guest.” 1,000 thumbs up. A billion stars. Resounding YES. I'll be back. Of course I'll be back.

Great location, train station access to Dulles and Reagan airports. Walking distance to mostly all the main monuments and museums. Well maintained rooms and furniture, top notch housekeeping services.

Overall a pleasant and flawless stay
Our over all experience was wonderful and the Grand Hyatt was a big part of that. It took us a bit of time to acclimate when we first arrived but questions were answered with friendly staff that went out of their way to help navigate parking, Metro Station ect... and once those things were behind us, our stay was flawless and comfortable. We felt safe and secure. The rooms were quiet and clean and comfortable. The emails that were sent in advance of our stay was very helpful in knowing what to expect, where to park ect. We will be returning next September and we will be staying at the Grand Hyatt without a doubt

Great experience
This was my 2nd time staying at the Grand Hyatt and it was absolutely amazing. The staff is incredible and so attentive to your needs. They’re always pleasant and ready to assist with a smile. The room was very nice and clean. I would definitely and plan to stay again.

Best Location

Great stay
Great location. Family friendly. Can't beat the accessabilty. We had a short stay but the quality was exceptional and the staff was extremely friendly and accomadating.
