Grand Hyatt Washington continues to elevate its’ grand reputation and guests experiences with the completion of fully renovated guestrooms, suites, and Grand Club Lounge and upcoming renovations to its meeting space and new restaurant. Introducing: Oribu Restaurant
A modern upscale restaurant is coming to Grand Hyatt Washington, poised to elevate D.C.'s culinary landscape in Spring 2026. The completely renovated space, formerly Cure Bar & Bistro, will become Oribu, featuring MediterrAsian cuisine inspired by the diverse cultures and flavors that flourished along the historic Silk Road.
During this transitional period, on-property restaurant dining will be temporarily unavailable from November 2025 to January 2026, with in-room dining remaining accessible. Starting January through April 2026, dining will commence at Cabinet Restaurant and through in-room dining service.

Grand Gatherings, Redefined
Grand Hyatt Washington has earned recognition from Cvent Top Hotels, Condé Nast Traveler, Washingtonian, and more for its exceptional events and guest experiences. Meeting space renovations will feature 39 newly renovated meeting rooms with updated carpet, wall coverings, new lighting, and two additional boardrooms.

Grand Hyatt Washington's renovated guestrooms and suites offer luxury and comfort with a fresh, bright design. The spaces feature neutral tones and modern touches that honor D.C.'s heritage, including enhanced lighting, hardwood floors, marble dining/workspace areas, lounge seating, and Belstone tile bathrooms. The 31 renovated suites provide elevated comfort for guests seeking a premium experience.

Expanded Grand Club Lounge
The Grand Club Lounge at Grand Hyatt Washington stands as a cornerstone of the hotel, boasting one of the largest operating Grand Clubs in the region. Renowned for its expansive daily selection of gourmet offerings, the Grand Club Lounge exceeds the culinary variety provided by other local hotels. The renovation of this space offers a new level of luxury with an enhanced seating space for guests to dine, lounge, or telework and an upgraded buffet display with a wider variety of gourmet offerings that reflect global and seasonal influences. Guests with Grand Club access can enjoy complimentary refreshments throughout the day, a continental breakfast spread, evening hors d'oeuvres, wine, cocktails and more in an exclusive and sophisticated setting.
