Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM (noon).
Late checkouts between 12 noon and 3PM are subject to a fee of $30 for standard rooms and $100 for suites.
Late checkouts until 6pm are quoted at 50% of the rate of the day
After 6pm, guests will be charged one night’s room rate.
Please note: All Late Check Outs are based on availability and will need to be confirmed with the Front Desk on the day of departure.
Yes. The hotel’s Front Desk team is pleased to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, allowing you to move freely between terminals or explore the surrounding area without carrying extra bags.

Parking, Travel & Transportation
The hotel is located on-site at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) one of the world’s busiest international hubs. The property has direct AirTrain access, making transfers fast and seamless.
Because the hotel is directly connected to the AirTrain, no shuttle is required. The AirTrain runs 24/7 and transports guests between terminals, BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit), rental car facilities, and the Grand Hyatt station.
Convenient options include:
- AirTrain → BART for travel to San Francisco or the greater Bay Area
- Rideshare services (Uber, Lyft) accessible from designated airport pickup zones
- Taxis available curbside at all terminals
- Rental cars accessible via the AirTrain to the SFO Rental Car Center
The hotel is located directly on airport grounds, making it ideal for travel convenience. Some nearby attractions — such as Bayfront trails, Burlingame restaurants, and scenic viewpoints — are accessible via short rideshare or transit trips.
While the hotel does not operate its own rental service, guests may access all major rental car companies at SFO’s Rental Car Center via the AirTrain. Bicycle rentals are available in nearby towns along the Bay Trail.

We highly recommend making reservations in advance, especially during peak travel periods, to ensure availability. Walk-ins are welcome, and guests can enjoy the hotel’s signature dining venues, which feature elevated California and Asian cuisine complemented by scenic views of the airfield.
Grand Hyatt at SFO does not have a pool.

Pets
We are happy to welcome your traveling canine companions. Please inform the hotel at least three days in advance of your arrival that you will have a dog (or dogs) staying with you. Please note: Only dogs are accepted.

7–30 nights: $200
30 or more nights: fee at hotel’s discretion
WEIGHT LIMITS:
1 dog: 50 lbs
2 dogs: 75 lbs combined
