Event Spaces
Grand Ballroom
Nine Viennese crystal chandeliers are the highlight of this high-ceilinged, European-style Grand Ballroom. The entire space is fully soundproofed even when divided into three sections. The latest audiovisual equipment includes two rear-projection video walls. The Grand Ballroom is the ideal venue for meetings, conferences, dinners and special events.
Savoy
This sophisticated space, designed in a contemporary style with stunning marble chandeliers, holds 220 people in a formal dinner setting or 250 people classroom style. The room can be divided into two sections. The Savoy is ideal for wedding receptions, cocktail parties and conferences.
The Red Rose
The Red Rose is a small banquet room which features a red rose from a novel “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. In the novel, the red rose was portrayed as the dear one for the little prince. Celia Chu, an interior designer, was inspired by this red rose and designed our banquet room which has the concept of small luxury. This venue’s wall and ceiling are decorated by arts imitating red rose petals and those generate chic and elegant atmosphere. This space holds 60 people in a formal dinner setting or 70 people for cocktails, and is an ideal venue for small wedding receptions or casual social gatherings.
White Rose Chapel
The variety of shapes expressed in the chapel represents the blooming of a rose. The entrance is a mere bud and, as you walk towards the altar, the space opens up just like a blooming rose, symbolising that a couple’s first encounter has grown into a love that will bloom for eternity. Twenty white roses along the nave add a delicate scent to the ceremony, and offer the hopeful, charming couple a warm welcome. Live trumpet, organ and hand bell music echoes around the chapel to lend the scene an air of glory.
Shinto Shrine
The Kushuda shrine, located in the heart of old Hakata, has been loved by local residents for more than 1,200 years. The Shinto shrine at Grand Hyatt Fukuoka is dedicated to this prestigious shrine and offers a sacred venue for your wedding. A Japanese vintage wedding will make your special day unique and unforgettable, enhanced by gagaku (ancient Japanese court music).
