Andaz San Diego
Hotel Experience & General Information
The $35 destination fee at Andaz San Diego includes a daily $10 F&B credit to use at hotel outlets, daily beer/wine tasting in the lobby, complimentary sparkling wine from STK with dinner reservation, hotel branded tote bag, discounts on local attractions and more.
Regular check-in time is 4pm, and check-out is at 11am. Based on availability, there is a $50 early check-in fee to check in before 12pm. Early check-in between 12pm and 4pm is based on availability without a fee. Also based on availability, there is a $25 late check out-fee for 1pm, and an additional $25 added per hour up until 5pm. Any late check-out beyond 5pm will be charged a full night.
Yes, we can store your luggage upon arrival if you room is not ready to be checked in, and we can also store after check-out, if you are still exploring San Diego. We will provide you with one luggage number for all accounted bags.
Rooms & Amenities
No, there is not a mini fridge in the room. There is a mini chiller in the room, to keep things cool, but not to preserve food, medications or items that required a regulated temperature. A mini fridge can be provided in your room at no additional cost upon availability.
Yes, daily housekeeping is provided. You can also opt out of housekeeping for the day, or your stay, as a part of our Hotels for Trees program, planting 1 tree per skipped service. Linens are only changed after 3 nights, or upon request.

Yes, we have 3D tours and floorplan diagrams available for our Standard Queen Room and King Room, Deluxe King, Andaz Suite, Andaz Extra Large Loft, Andaz Cabana Suite, Andaz Sweet Suite and Andaz Star Suite. These can be found here.

No, there are no EV chargers at the hotel. They can be found in nearby parking lots and garages.
No, we do not have self-parking available.
Yes, we offer valet parking for all guests. Valet is $65 for all overnight hotel guests, with 24-hour in and out access.
No, we do not have a shuttle service available. Our team can assist with providing contacts to have car services scheduled.
Yes, Andaz San Diego is in downtown San Diego, in the heart of the Gaslamp District. We are surrounded by several venues - Petco Park, corporate buildings, restaurants and hot spots in town. We are also short drives from main attractions like the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Snapdragon Stadium, Seaworld, and more.
Hotel Facilities
The Rooftop by STK is our breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant. Walk-ins are welcome, or reservations can be booked online through Tock, or by calling. In-room dining is also available, using The Rooftop by STK menu, and regular hours.
In-room dining orders are available during regular hours for The Rooftop by STK, 7am – 11am (daily), 12pm – 9pm (Sunday – Thursday), and 12pm – 11pm (Friday – Saturday).
Yes, the pool is heated to 80 degrees.

Pets
Yes, we are a dog friendly hotel. Dogs are welcome in the main lobby area, as well as guestroom hallways, guestrooms, and Rooftop. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area.
Yes, there is a $50 nightly pet fee. The pet fee does not apply to service animals. Additional cleaning fee applied for any extensive damage.
Accessibility
There are 7 ADA guestrooms onsite. ADA lifts are available at the pool. There are 3 elevators in the hotel, to access meeting rooms, guestrooms and rooftop floors. We have ADA kits available for hearing, and vision impaired upon request.
Service animals are welcome. No paperwork is required.

Our General Hotel policy is 11:59pm Hotel Time 3 Days Before Arrival Or Pay 1 Night Fee/Credit Card Required. Cancellation policies may vary based on specific rate type that is booked by the guest.
