Great atmosphere, beautiful and relaxing. Spacious and clean room. Many activities for kids to enjoy: swimming pool, tennis, kids club, movie room, etc. Stuff are very friendly and responsive. Grazing with goat was such a memorable joy for the whole family. Plus food is amazing!

Great place for family vacation

Was really looking forward to our stay but overall felt underwhelmed and disappointed. The room was nice and spacious. The layout of the hotel is very spacious so be ready for walking and going up/down hill and to navigate the grounds in the dark (signage not so visible with the small lamps). Overall the service was not on par with what you pay. There’s a texting service for any questions you have. Unfortunately we were ignored multiple times. The food at Valley Kitchen is very good but the service is also disappointing. The grounds are beautiful and being able to see the animals up close was very special. One of the most dog-friendly hotels and that was also very cool! Overall though, I think we will explore other spots rather than come back to Carmel Valley Ranch due to the service.

Beautiful but disappointing

This is the perfect stay whether you’re with family or a couple. CVR offers so many activities on-campus beyond the golf-course itself; my husband and I loved the corral and all the animal experiences (as did my nephew). Spa Aiyana was also wonderfully relaxing. I also really appreciated that it’s so dog-friendly, so that our pup wouldn’t have to be boarded while we were away. Overall, we loved spending our winter holiday here and plan to be back soon so we can pack in more of the excursions!

Great for families or couples!

The remodel River Ranch is nice.   Also they have now more EV charging stations (non Tesla charging stations) which is more convenient.

Oh, the duck in Valley Kitchen is really good.

The resort has a large campus about 500 acres, The beautiful hill, golf course, vineyard, animal farm.  We would be back again in the summer when vineyard and lavender field are blooming.

Beautilful resort surrounded by hills. only 15 mins away from Carmel-by-the see.

What a pleasant surprise!   We had no idea there was so much being offered at the Hyatt - exploring adventures, golf,  lunch with donkeys/goats, off road tour of the ranch, homemade goat cheese, smores in the evenings, a welcome wine and freshly baked cookies, the list goes on and on.

The facility is stunning, on top of the hill.  The service is 5 stars!  They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need.

A must visit - a gem on the hillside, yet only 5 miles from Carmel-by-the Sea

This needs to be a go to destination! The property and staff are professional, courteous and friendly. Their willingness to go above and beyond is unmatched. The rooms are beautiful, the service is amazing and the food top notch! I applaud their commitment to sustainability! The entire staff was knowledgeable and passionate about their work.

Good experience, friendly staff, wonderful setting.  Carmel Valley Ranch Golf Course was in excellent shape, beautiful hilly layout.

CVR is a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay on our recent family trip with our baby and our golden retriever. The resort was extremely welcoming and truly family- and pet-friendly. The environment was beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained, and the amenities made our stay very comfortable.

The food options were great as well, with plenty of variety to choose from each day. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would happily return. Highly recommended for families and pet owners!
