Tucked away in the foothills of the Santa Lucia Mountains on the sunny side of the Monterey Peninsula, Carmel Valley Ranch is located at One Old Ranch Road, Carmel, CA 93923. The resort is set on 500-acres in Carmel Valley wine country, just a short drive from Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pebble Beach, and Big Sur.
Carmel Valley Ranch is ideal for families, couples, groups, wellness travelers, golfers, food and wine lovers, and guests traveling with dogs. The resort offers family-friendly suites and children’s amenities, romantic fireplaces and private decks, spa and wellness offerings, golf, group/event venues, and pet-friendly programming.

Reservations are not required for on-site dining; however, they are highly recommended for dinner at Valley Kitchen, the resort’s signature restaurant, especially on weekends, holidays, and during peak travel periods. Reservations are not accepted for breakfast. River Ranch Bar & Grill and The Clubhouse Grill are available on a walk-in basis only.

Carmel Valley Ranch’s standard cancellation policy requires cancellations or changes by 11:59 p.m. hotel time, seven (7) days prior to arrival to avoid a fee. Cancellations or changes made after that time may result in a charge equal to one night’s room and tax rate. A credit card is required to secure the reservation. Please note that holidays, special events, packages, and promotional rates may have different cancellation or change policies. Guests should refer to their reservation confirmation for the policy specific to their stay.
