Great hotel. Beds were very comfortable. Lobby and bar area was uniquely decorated and overall really cool.

Modern Style Meets Historic Charm

I really wanted to like the Eliza Jane. There was an issue with my room at check-in, and after they promised a maintenance check that never happened, I asked to be moved to a different room. 

That evening, I received a very nice voicemail from Kay in Guest Services apologizing and offering a food & beverage credit to help make up for the mistake — a generous offer and something I didn’t expect. 

Then upon checkout, there was no record of the credit anywhere on my folio and of course no-one in the back office to help track it down (it was 6:00am) so I made a mental note to follow-up directly. 

I’ve now reached out three times with ZERO response. It’s not a lot of money, but the principle of the matter. Why is simple customer service always so challenging?

From Promising to Disappointing

The room was wonderful! Clean, and very comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever been in! The location was great , easy to get anywhere and I liked it was outside of the French Quarter so it was less busy at night but we could still walk there anytime we wanted. I also really enjoyed the decor of the hotel. Beautiful and very classy and the outdoor entryway was decorated for Marti Gras with purple, green and gold decorative balls. A very fun and welcoming first impression!!

Great place great experience!

The hotel was very nice and I enjoyed the bar at the bottom check-in process was fine. I had an upgraded king room and it was so loud at 5 AM with garbage trucks in the alley that I would be hesitant to recommend this hotel if you stay here, be sure you tell him you do not wanna stay on that side of the road. No sound machine could drown out the noise, I tried.

The hotel itself was fine, but there were several issues. A $30 per day resort fee was charged and not disclosed in advance, and it provided no additional services. Valet parking charged $60 but never delivered my truck, claiming they were short-staffed. I was told to walk two blocks to a public parking lot, which I did while carrying my bags. I called the hotel three times and was told a one-day credit would be issued, but it still hasn’t happened.

Eliza Jane exceded my expectations. Really cute spot, perfect location for walking to many attractions (just outside the french quarter) and lots of space to relax after a long day of exploring!

Great place to stay in New Orleans!

This was my second time to stay at the Eliza Jane. I requested, and received, a suite that did not face the atrium. Rooms facing the atrium are very loud due to the noise from the bar and live band. Our suite was fantastic! Every room was very spacious, and it had huge floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom and bathroom. Everything in the hotel was in good condition and clean. I think the best feature in our room had to be the bathroom. It was very large and had a huge soaking tub. All of the hotel staff were friendly and quick to answer questions and requests. The hotel is about 2-3 blocks from Canal, which makes getting to everything in the quarter walkable, yet you get a bit less street noise. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great Hotel

Good location. About 3 blocks from French Quarter/Bourbon St. You are close enough but away from all the noise at night. Hotel is a nice boutique style. Modern. Good breakfast and dinner options. 

Management and specifcally Kay Drubowski was very nice and provides top notch customer service. She helped us modify our reservation even when the booking was non-refundable and helped us with some checkout folio issues. It was a pleasure to have been assisted by her.

Great customer service

Great location and and even better atmosphere! Attentive staff and amazing bartenders. An easy walk to Canal and Bourbon Streets and to the Convention Center or Riverwalk.
