This was a magical experience. From the time you arrive on the island and get your palm frond fish necklace and carved coconut with water, you just take a deep breath and relax. The island vibe is laid back, and we did the all inclusive food and beverage which was a great deal. The snorkeling was top notch- seeing anemones and Nemo’s, sea turtles, and white tip and black tip reef sharks, and so many colorful fish  right off our over water villa was magical. Eden was our host and helped us get everything we needed- snorkeling equipment, a massage booked, a private beach dinner, and BBQ on the beach! Five nights was a wonderful amount of time to be there and we would love to return again soon.

What an amazing stay!  The beach villas are fantastic, with truly world class snorkeling right in front of the hotel.  Staff are all very kind, genuine and attentive.  They organized several custom excursions for us and went out of their way to please.  We loved our time here, as did our kids.  It’s quite a trek to get here, but so worth it.

Wonderful hotel in the Maldives!

Fantastic experience at the Park Hyatt, the staff was extremely attentive and helped us with anything we needed. Food and drinks were exceptional and we really enjoyed the snorkeling excursions.

Great stay at Park Hyatt Maldives

Our host, Shahum, was incredibly helpful, responsive, and one of the best customer service experiences we've ever experienced. He even met us at our villa at 1:30 AM to smoothly check us in personally on the night of our arrival. He met all our needs and planned one of the most amazing vacation trip experiences we've ever had. Highly-recommend him to any guest that comes to Park Hyatt Maldives  Hadahaa. We also tremendously appreciated all the staff, including Avnish, one of the food & beverage managers, who was very delightful, kind, and generous to invite us to his delectable world cuisse buffet. We also appreciated Morin, one of the water activity guides and staff, who guided and accompanied us on our incredible nighttime snorkeling journey to see the incredible aquatic night life around the living island (we saw lobsters, crabs, a shark, an eel, and many species of fish). Overall, amazing experience of a lifetime!

Stay at Park Hyatt Maldives

We had the most amazing stay here. The island is beautiful, but the hospitality was truly on another level. 

We came to celebrate our anniversary and were made to feel so special and celebrated, even though I’m sure many of the other guests were celebrating things too.

Shahum was the best host — always helping us, booking activities, and anticipating our needs before we even realized we had them ourselves. There was one day where we were out on excursion during the Globalist sundowner and Shahum ensured that the hours were extended for when we returned so we were still able to partake. He was able to accommodate several last minute requests we had, and did so with a smile. 

Speedy added a wonderful touch to our experience. He came over to chat with us and encouraged us to visit the Island Grill (here we had delicious food and got to try the signature Speedy sauce) and told us about several activities that hadn't been on our radar. He also sent over complimentary desserts! 

Chef Davide was incredible. He brought us desserts to our table and kept reminding us that if we ever wanted anything special, he would make it. 

We also really enjoyed the sundowners and the bar team staff. We’re vegetarian and didn’t even mention it, but they noticed we didn’t eat the meat canapés on the first day and from then on they made us special vegetarian options. That level of attention was so thoughtful and impressive.

The Blue Journeys team were amazing! We loved every excursion and all the diving we did with them.

We were so sad to leave but are already hoping to be back soon!

Magical Island, Amazing Team, Exceptional Stay

The resort is not flashy or brand new, but it's the experience that will feel leave you feeling like you had the most luxurious vacation. No sand is pumped, all trees on the island are natural, amazing marine life and reefs. All the positive reviews you've read here is accurate, this place is magical and a bucket list item.

Bucket List Experience

We first visited in September 2023 for our honeymoon and returned in November 2025 to celebrate our anniversary. PH Maldives is truly a special place -- every staff member went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful, from the food options to the diving activities and the spa, we enjoyed everything we did on the island. Last time we had a beach villa and thoroughly enjoyed access to the beach, where we went for sunrise/sunset walks every day. This time, we were upgraded to an overwater villa and really appreciated being able to snorkel directly from our villa -- we even saw a reef shark right under our villa on our last day. We enjoyed our time so much that we will definitely return in the future!

Truly a paradise, will definitely return

This hotel has some of the best coral reefs I have seen in all of my travels. The underwater life is incredibly rich and colorful, with an abundance of amazing fish. I highly recommend taking the reef class, it helped me understand fish behavior better and taught me more about the resort’s “living island” concept.

The staff is extremely kind, attentive, and thoughtful. The service is excellent and very personalized. They remember your preferences, even something as simple as refilling extra water, without you asking. Our room attendant, Shawreez, made us feel truly special every day.

I also love that the resort offers complimentary activities that can fill your entire day. We had a dedicated host, Akram, who was very helpful and assisted us with everything we needed. I just wish he had told me earlier about the complimentary 5-minute massage offered every morning.

Boni, the yoga instructor, was wonderful. Her sessions helped us relax and start the day feeling centered, and the evening aquatic yoga was a new and memorable experience that we loved.

We did have one incident where a massage therapist made me uncomfortable. However, Lemon from the management team handled the situation professionally and made things right. I then had an amazing treatment with Purna, so relaxing that I almost fell asleep.

Treat yourself to this hotel at least once in your life

Our experience at North Huvadhoo was everything we could have wished for. The distance from Male (involving an internal flight and half hour speed boat connection) was worth the extra travel. One of the stand-outs was the exceptional service and courtesy provided by ALL the staff. The private villa, private plunge pool and direct beach access made for a memorable stay.
