Liu Yuan

This museum in Suzhou's Xiangcheng District is dedicated to imperial bricks and was designed by the acclaimed Chinese architect Liu Jikun, a 2025 Pritzker Prize laureate. Focusing on imperial kiln bricks from the Ming and Qing dynasties, the museum systematically presents their 600-year history, 29 traditional craftsmanship techniques, and cultural significance. It has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage site.
