Exceptional people, outstanding services, and cleanliness of hotel and room is fantastic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to NY for business or personal. Less than a block to the 6 train, surrounded by great eateries, and you just cannot beat the customer service!

As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum and Hilton Gold member, I had never had occasion to stay at a Hyatt property before. Marriott is admittedly known for their low standards in the customer care but a good awards program. Hilton prides itself on their customer service but has IMO a skimpy awards points program. In my new experience Hyatt excelled in both areas, head of Marriott and Hilton. I stayed at a very nice Manhattan property near Gramercy Park for what I considered to be a great very generous points deal (in my favor). The service was Ritz-Carlton level throughout. Hyatt is going to be my first choice going forward. I am semi-retired and travel as frequently as ever but with more of a focus on personal stays than business trips. I look forward to seeing if my future Hyatt bookings are as delightful and rewarding. What a nice, unexpected surprise.

Park South Hotel was a pleasant surprise! The staff is friendly and eager to help, making you feel welcome from the start. The neighborhood is quiet, with plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. Overall, a lovely place to stay with warm service and a convenient location.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times, and I don't want to stay anywhere else in NYC when I visit. The rooms might be small, but if you request a quiet room on a top floor and you manage to secure one, you will have an unexpectedly peaceful sleep. I don't mean a peaceful sleep "for NYC" -- I mean better than at home. I noticed the room didn't fill with steam after taking a long, hot shower, and I have no idea what sort of magic mechanism they've used to achieve this. The staff could not be more cordial, charming, and accommodating. I have no suggestions for improvement.

This will be my home away from home in NYC. I used to live nearby, so was familiar with the neighborhood vibe, which is not at all like a big Time Squire hotel. This is a friendly, warm, boutique style hotel with great staff, and wonderful rooms. For a foodie, this area is paradise, and the renovated conveniently located subway access at 28th and Park down by the corner, and with Lexington to the east and Park Avenue to the west of the hotel, makes this a perfect neighborhood spot, to walk go anywhere, uptown, downtown, walk to Chelsea, Grammercy Park, Murray Hill, Grand Central, Flat Iron, the Village, all at your fingertips. Stay here and have a NYC neighborhood experience.

Great location close to everything I wanted to be near and convenient to the subway stops. The rooms are more spacious than most in the city with lovely, modern decor. but the standout was the front desk staff and doormen/bellmen. They were all so kind, professional, welcoming, helpful, and sincere. Shout out to Chiffon.

The hotel is situated in the ideal spot for exploring Manhattan. There is a subway less than a minutes walk away and a great bagel shop two doors down. The hotel is spotless and the staff really attentive and lovely. Would definitely come here again. Didn’t eat at the hotel so unable to comment on food, but there was a lovely little coffee machine and a fridge in the room. Great few days spent here sad it wasn’t longer.

This was a very nice experience. The hotel staff was friendly & very helpful. The room was quiet, comfortable & clean. I would stay here again if visiting NYC.

Staff -- front desk, housekeeping and doormen -- were extremely helpful, always polite and genuinely interested in how my stay was going. They provided a list nearby restaurants that proved very useful.

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff made my almost week-long stay one of my best in New York. This Hyatt is in an older building with basic, spotless rooms in NoMad. It is well located to the subway and has some nice amenities (like a rooftop bar and welcome drinks). The Bolivian coffee shop next door was fantastic. Rooms are NY-sized , recently redone and very clean. We had no issues with noise and slept well on their comfy beds. The hotel’s best asset, however, is the staff. Front desk folks, doormen, housekeeping - all work hard to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. I would return to the hotel because of them.
