Nice hotel with market leading customer service staff and professionalism. If you are looking for a reasonably priced MidTown stay you can't go wrong here. I will be back!

Very friendly staff. Park South hotel was clean, nice amenities, very good value for the experience. They gave us free beer / wine voucher upon check in to use at roof top bar.

Great location, near subway, McDonald’s, Walgreens, Dunkin; staff very friendly and welcoming; bottled water from the front desk; room was clean and relatively quiet (also used a sound machine for sleeping); never had to wait more than a minute for the elevator; rooftop bar is very nice but wish they had more beer selection (was given two complementary drinks cards to use between 5-7:30); definitely would return and stay at the Park South Hotel

We arrived about 10:30 and decided not to take the early check-in option ($50 charge, room available by noon). There were travelers who sounded like they were from Europe asleep in the lobby (completely stretched out napping). I love New Yorkers and allowing this seemed so New York to me. Bigger problems in the world than that! I received an email the day prior offering early check-in, which was a nice touch. The room was ready a little earlier than 3:00, which was perfect since we walked to the Empire State Building while we were waiting for the room. We stopped by the Nikola Tesla museum in the basement of the New Yorker Hotel and walked through for free. We also walked to Times Square and Central Park. Great location and there was plenty of retail close by (Bagels and Schmear, McDonals, food trucks, CVS, Whole Foods, Target). It's also only a few blocks from Union Square/Gramercy Park. I used the gym daily. It's tiny, but no excuse not to work out. The room was beautiful and the woman from housekeeping was so sweet. She did an excellent job. There was complimentary coffee in the morning (one day was 7:30, the rest 7:00). The first day there were complimentary pastries, but those did not appear again once the hotel started breakfast service. Breakfast is brand new. I did not try it and I thought the coffee was a pretty weak brew once breakfast kicked off. They give you drink coupons upon check-in (I don't drink and didn't ask about nonalcoholic) and they had a happy hour thing. I paid about $800 for a double bed room for 3 nights. That's a competitive rate and this was a great location for my needs.

If you go in with a rough draft or room assignments be prepared to be berated and harassed by front office staff for offensively not having a concrete plan for rooms.

The staff is so welcoming and helpful. We stayed in an accessible room with a king size bed and it was nice and roomy. The room is so clean and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location. Subway at the end of the block but able to walk to get to many attractions in the area (i.e Empire State building, tlTimrs Square, Madison Square Garden and Broadway just to name a few). Plenty of restaurants in the area. No complaints with hotel. It met our needs and would stay again. Staff was very helpful.

Convenient location. Small rooms, like always in NYC, but clean and well-appointed. Great staff -- friendly and helpful. I spoke to a frequent traveler i the elevator and she said the hotel was cleaner and more reliable than any other in that location. We were there to visit family, not business, but I agree.

Upon my arrival, staff was very welcoming. Appreciated the bottled waters given. Room was very clean and quiet. Housekeeping did a great job tidying my room.

Stayed at the Park South Hotel recently and had a mixed experience. The location is solid and check-in was smooth. Customer service was a standout—staff were friendly and helpful, especially the doorman, who made us feel welcome right away. My World of Hyatt perks were honored correctly, which was appreciated. That said, the rooms definitely show their age. They're small and outdated, with very limited storage. The bathroom was especially tight—virtually no counter space or storage, and the shower leaked water all over the floor. Also, the toilet paper quality was surprisingly poor, which felt like an odd corner to cut. Despite these issues, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, which helped balance things out. I didn’t get a chance to check out the rooftop bar, but heard it’s a highlight of the property. Overall, a decent stay if you prioritize service and don’t mind tight quarters—but don’t expect luxury or modern amenities.
