The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress has gorgeous meeting spaces that are conveniently located and perfect for hosting events or conferences. The meeting areas are well-maintained and make a great impression. However, the guest rooms could definitely use some attention. They feel outdated and would benefit from renovations and modern upgrades to match the quality of the meeting spaces. Overall, a nice property, but the rooms could use a refresh to elevate the guest experience.

Don’t miss staying here. Convenient location to Disney and I-4. Excellent golf in the area and the pools and waterfalls were relaxing. Food was excellent and service was attentive and friendly.

This is an absolutely beautiful property in all aspects. Our room was clean and comfortable and the many amenities at the hotel added up to an exceptional stay.

Very nice hotel amenities were excellent - my kids loved the pool and the slide. I upgraded to a suite for a minimal fee which was worth it for a family of four. We only stayed one night but we were happy with our short visit.

We stayed here for three nights to celebrate my friend's birthday. The people working here are what stood out most. The bellhops went above and beyond helping us with our bags, and the man greeting guests at the entrance was one of the friendliest, most upbeat people I've met at a hotel. He set the tone for the whole trip. The front desk was fine, just not on the same level as everyone else. The location is a big plus. You're close to the parks, restaurants, and pretty much anything else you'd want to do in Orlando. Where it fell short for me was the cost. The price on Booking.com looked reasonable, but by checkout we were paying a $50/night resort fee plus parking for each car, and it added up fast. Parking isn't included, which was really frustrating, especially since other hotels nearby include it and are honestly nicer. One small thing: the parrot near check-in is LOUD and caught us off guard when we walked in. If you go, budget for the extras ahead of time. The service is fantastic, but for the total price I'd probably look at other options next time.

Absolutely epic pool and great staff. You won't find a cooler pool really anywhere. You literally get to swim through a cave. Not to mention there's a pitch and putt course, bike riding, and even a tetherball. My wife and I found out real quick that it takes way more energy than it did in middle school.

Such a fun resort with so much to do! We traveled with our three kids (13,10, and 8) and stayed in a suite. For a small fee we were able to get a rollaway bed and slept everyone comfortably. The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived and so great to my kids. Housekeeping did an impeccable job of cleaning our room every day, even making up the sofa and rollaway beds ! My kids loved the pool, poolside lunch was great albeit resort prices but not terrible. My kids also loved getting to go out the paddle boats and canoes! And they were obsessed with Merlot, the live parrot in the lobby! Great place to stay if you are going tk the parks and don’t want to stay on property, we are glad we left one day to just hang at resort! We also saw Disney and Epcot fireworks from our balcony each night and highly recommend Richard Blais’s Four Flamingos restaurant, the seafood stew was 👌👌 We did not use the park shuttle as we were doing Universal and the times did not work for us but we had a car and it was an easy drive from the resort

I booked Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress because it's marketed as a family resort near Disney. That turned out to be false advertising. In the middle of the day we turned on the TV in our room with our young children sitting right there. Within 8–10 seconds the Hyatt welcome channel was showing two men kissing. We didn't pick a channel or search for anything. It's the hotel's own promo, and it plays automatically every time the TV comes on. This is completely unacceptable. Parents decide what their children see and when to talk about these topics, not a hotel chain through a video that ambushes kids the moment the TV comes on. If you call yourself a family resort, your default screen has to be appropriate for children. It isn't. Hyatt seems to know this is a problem: another guest reported the same clip at a Hyatt in Texas in March 2026, and at least one other guest here complained about it in a review. Nothing has changed. Housekeeping was just as bad. The day after check-in nobody cleaned our room at all. The next day I called the front desk specifically to ask for cleaning. They asked what time worked best, and I said 11 AM to 12 PM. When I got back to the room at 5 PM, it was still being cleaned. Five hours after the time they agreed to, at a resort at these prices, we couldn't get into our own room. Between the content on the TV and the housekeeping, I could not recommend this resort to anyone, least of all families with children. Management and Hyatt corporate: take this content out of the default welcome loop and fix your housekeeping, or stop advertising yourselves as family-friendly. We won't be back, and we'll tell every family we know why.

Accommodating, pleasant and professional staff. Everything was very clean and efficient. Elevators arrived quickly allowing speedy room access and the grounds were clean and inviting. The amenities were very accessible, invigorating and operated on very generous schedules. I will highly recommend this property to everyone I know. Well done Grand Cypress! 👏🏻

Wonderful hotel, but parking is terrible. It’s very far from the hotel and there wasn’t any security patrolling the area; I didn’t feel safe coming in late.

Another stay at the Hyatt.We only stayed for the 2nd week of our trip as the previous week was fully booked.Everything was first class,however the hotel is more tailored to the business sector & lost a bit of its family friendly status of years ago.This makes it difficult to book & often full ,due to conventions & rates reflect the corporate market.

Hotel were extremely nice. We picked this hotel based off photos online and we’re very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We will definitely return.

Very clean and accommodating-as expected! The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The lobby was freezing though- I would recommend that they build more Restaurants within the resort for variety.

We came up for a quick weekend and the hotel is amazing! The pool is perfect during the day and magical in evening. Take time to explore the grounds! The room? Wow, just wow! Clean, large and so nice! The stand out for the whole trip though? The staff! From making the reservation, driving up and being greeted by so many that helped get us out and ready to go in to check in, to the room attendant, the attendants at elevators (!!!) , and the amazing food and beverage locations (the frozen wine drink is perfect btw!) the staff made this such a special trip! Thank you!!

Great location and plenty of good food options! Rooms very outdated and they should be updated. Our couch was stained and very gross to look at. I would stay again if the rooms were updated because I like the property.

It's tough to say anything can be perfect. My stay, though, was lovely. The staff were friendly and professional. The overall dining experiences were excellent and my room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I am happy our FABA Conference was held here and will be again in 2027.

The hotel is beautiful. Unfortunately, it rain and I was not able to enjoy the property to its fullest. Suggest the bar area be open daily as not everyone there are there for vacation.
