Check-in Policy

The minimum age for check-in is 20 years old. Guests are required to present a valid physical copy of a government-issued identification or passport during check-in.

Family Plan & Extra Bed Policy

Two kids, 12 years old or younger, enjoy a complimentary stay if sharing a bed with parents and another with an existing sofa bed. Rollaway beds may incur extra charges.

Smoking Policy

Hyatt Regency Koh Samui prohibits smoking in all nonsmoking rooms, suites, villas, balconies and public areas. The designated smoking area is located outside the lobby entrance, outside Yangna Cuisine, bar of SESUN Grill & Beach Bar and on the KUBE patio. The hotel will apply a THB 10,000 plus 7% VAT cleaning fee to any guest room that violates this nonsmoking policy.

Payment Policy

Upon check-in, a THB 2,000 deposit hold per room, per night, will be authorized on credit card, cash (THB) or a bank transfer at the time of check-in to cover any incidental charges, in addition to room and tax with the approved credit card provided (or an alternative mode of payment) for the entire reserved stay. While most authorizations are released immediately upon departure, some may take up to 30 days depending on the issuing bank. If there is an issue with a pending authorization, please contact the issuing bank by calling the number on the back of the card. The front desk is available to assist with getting approval released.

Third-Party Payment Policy

Hyatt Regency Koh Samui does not accept the credit card authorization form. A secure online payment (Omise) is available. Please contact reservations.usmrk@hyatt.com directly to arrange a prepayment. 

Pet Policy

  • One Bedroom Ocean Front Pool Villa, up to two pets (cats or dogs only) weighing less than 18 kg are allowed. Extra charges per night: THB 1,500 net per pet.
  • One King Bed with Plunge Pool, a pet (a cat or a dog only) weighing less than 10 kg is allowed. Extra charges per night: THB 1,500 net per pet.
  • Pets are required to be fully trained and appropriately restrained by you, and pets should comply with local legislation requirements.
  • Pet must be kept on a leash or in a pet stroller when at the resort area unless it’s in your room or suite.
  • Please do not leave your pet unattended. 
  • While your pet can be in different areas of the resort, please note that pets are not permitted in the indoor space of any restaurant and bar, spa, fitness center, children’s playground or resort pool.
  • Your pets are welcome at the outdoor sitting space of Yangna Cuisine and SESUN Grill & Beach Bar.
  • While at the restaurants or in the room, pets should be sitting on the furniture only with the required protection.
  • Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets while at the resort.
  • Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
  • Any damage caused to the furniture, fixtures, sofa covers, etc., will be the guest’s responsibility, and the resort has the right to levy appropriate compensation charges.
  • The resort is authorized to charge your credit card for any damages incurred.
  • Pets are strictly prohibited from entering the pool in your rooms. In the event your pet does venture into the pool, a cleaning fee of THB 10,000 will be levied to your invoice.
