    Great weekend getaway experience.

Great location (walking distance from the Arch). Service was great from the start. Very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Didn’t seem outdated. Will definitely return.

    Feel warm here

I’d like to express my appreciation for Abadessamad at the front desk. When we checked in late in the evening, we realized our room wouldn’t be comfortable enough for three people. We were willing to pay for an upgrade, but Abadessamad kindly took the initiative to arrange a larger room with two beds and an extra bed for us. Thanks to Abadessamad’s thoughtfulness and excellent service, my family and I had a very comfortable night's sleep. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and wanted to make sure his efforts were recognized.

It’s wonderful to know our front desk team helped your family get settled comfortably after a late check-in. Taking the initiative to find a room that better suited your needs made a real difference, and we’re glad you were able to enjoy a restful night together. We’ll be happy to share your kind comments with our team, and we look forward to welcoming you and your family back to St. Louis. Warm regards, Debo Aderibigbe Director of Rooms

Great Staff, Great Location but POOR accessibility for the disABLED

Incredibly friendly staff! If you are disabled, you will struggle. There are very few rooms with roll in showers. The roll in shower rooms tend to only have a king size bed and are far and few in between. The toilet bowls are practically sitting on the floor. They need to spend time and money on providing more accessible rooms.

We are glad our team made a positive impression with their friendly service. However, we recognize your concerns about the limited availability of rooms with roll-in showers and the bathroom features that affected accessibility. We understand how important it is for guests to have suitable room options that meet their needs, and your comments highlight opportunities to review these accommodations and improve accessibility throughout the guest experience. Conference Stay

I traveled here for a work conference. The hotel staff were very accommodating from the start. They got me in a room when I arrived even though I was early for check-in. After two flights to get there, I was exhausted and grateful to be able to check in right away. The conference rooms were easily located all on the same floor. It was great to have a Starbucks located right inside the hotel so I could get my favorite coffee every morning before the conference started. The room was clean although I noticed toward the end of my stay, the shower got blocked and water filled up to my ankles. The toilet also seemed to have trouble flushing. Since it was the last day of my trip, I didn't make a complaint. Also, the iron in my room was not working so I wasn't able to iron my pants. (Fortunately I only had one pair of pants that needed ironing and some downy wrinkle spray did the trick.) When I requested extra washcloths and bottles of water via the room service text option, they were delivered to my room promptly. The only thing that I found difficult was how far away my room was from the elevator. It was over a 2 minute walk (I timed it) to get to the elevator from my room. With my arthritis and some other chronic health issues, it was a bit much for me but if I ever come back, I'll be sure to request a room closer to the elevator!

We are glad our team helped make your check-in easier and that your requests for extra supplies were handled promptly. We are sorry that the bathroom fixtures and iron presented some difficulties during your stay. We’ve also taken your comments about the distance between your room and the elevator into consideration, particularly given the importance of convenient access. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we hope to make your next visit more comfortable and convenient. Warm regards, Debo Aderibigbe Director of Rooms

I love the Hyatt at the Arch!

Always a great stay, clean, comfortable, and very convenient to downtown. The front desk check-in was excellent. I love that it is at Ruth Chris and the hotel restaurants.

    Great Location and Helpful Staff

I've stayed there several times, and it has always been a great experience. The Arch is only a couple of hundred yards away and it is worth the visit. Also, a very easy walk to Cardinal stadium. Overall, a perfect location for a visit to St. Louis.

    Expect less, then not dissappointed

Location can't be beat. Right at the arch. Room was very clean. If you get a room with a shower only, please keep in mind, the shower is 8" off the bathroom floor. Also, check for a bath matt. Both the shower and bathroom floor are VERY slippery. If you get a room with a shower/tub combo. The wall of the tub is very high. The breakfast buffet was cold and very expensive for what you got. ..cold eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage. We went to breakfast at 7:30. Should be piping hot.The Brewhaus was okay. BBQ chicken pizza was good, but they only have it on days when not busy. Chicken sandwich was hard and very little chicken. Wings were good, salad wilty. Food is overpriced. Only other restaurant is Ruth Chris for dinner or you have to walk.

    Disappointed

Not up to previous standards. Paid for an upgraded room with view and window seals were broken window was all cloudy and view obstructed. Not the Hyatt Regency of the past. Far from a gold standard.

Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch Well Worth the Stay

This was a beautiful hotel right next to the Gateway Arch. Easy walking distance to everything downtown, including Busch Stadium. The hotel was super clean and it really felt like the best place in St. Louis to stay for a night or two. We were only there for a night and didn't have any of the food, but for the short time we were in town, we were thrilled to be in such a great spot. The customer service was excellent, and everything was super quick when we arrived to check in.

Hyatt Regency Downtown Arch-not all arch

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch for one night while attending a Cardinals game. As Explorist members, we were told we had been upgraded, so we were looking forward to seeing what the upgraded room would be like. Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed with the room and what felt like a very minimal upgrade. We were given a city-view room on the 10th floor of an 18-story hotel. The “city view” was essentially a view of downtown buildings, and overall, it didn’t feel like much of an upgrade. We had expected something a little more special as Explorist members. There were also a few things about the room itself that were unusual. The layout was awkward, with electrical outlets in the middle of the floor. There was an area where it looked like a couch or loveseat should have been, but there wasn’t one. There was also no nightstand on one side of the bed, which made it difficult to have a place for a phone, water, etc. The refrigerator was extremely cold and actually froze all of our bottled water. There was a very large walk-in closet, which seemed like a lot of space for a one-night stay and could potentially have been better utilized in the room. On the positive side, the air conditioning worked extremely well — perhaps a little too well! We were absolutely freezing during the night, but at least there was no concern about the room being too warm. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. One thing we really did love was the location. We were in St. Louis for a Cardinals game and were able to easily walk to and from Busch Stadium. The hotel is in a very convenient location for the ballpark and downtown attractions. We also had some confusion when arriving by car. We initially thought we were entering the valet parking area, only to discover we were on the wrong side of the hotel and had to drive all the way around the building to get to valet parking. Better signage directing guests to the valet entrance would definitely help. Overall, while there were some disappointments with the room and the upgrade experience, the location was excellent, the staff made check-in and check-out easy, and the hotel worked very well for attending a Cardinals game. If we were coming back to St. Louis for another game, we would consider staying here again — but we would probably have different expectations regarding the room upgrade.

We are glad our convenient location made it easy to reach Busch Stadium and explore nearby attractions. At the same time, we’re sorry the guest room provided did not align with what you had anticipated. Your observations about the room layout and amenities have been noted for further consideration. We also regret the confusion when arriving by car, and your suggestion regarding clearer valet signage is helpful. It’s good to know the check-in and check-out processes were otherwise smooth. Thank you for sharing these details, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide a more enjoyable stay in the future. Warm regards, Debo Aderibigbe Director of Rooms

Not a place I would go if it wasn't for business

Parking is extremely poor and staff are not friendly. The staff will smile at you as they address you in a condescending tone and go out of their way to make any interaction difficult.

Nice and clean place to stay

Everything was great, except for the parking. Valet service was poor. The food was good. The Breakfast buffet had a lot of choices. The rooms, and common areas were very clean.

Great location and view of Arch

Great location for concert at Dome. Room with arch view was perfect, couldn’t have been better. Starbucks in the lobby was a bonus. The Arch is right there. Hotel parking didn’t expire until 4pm and the hotel held our bags after 11am checkout so we could go to the Arch. Busch stadium or the Dome are each a 10 min walk (opposite directions) Tip: If arriving the day of an event (such as a concert) arrive early if you have a car that you will park there. After 4-5:00pm it was an hour wait to just get parked. Will definitely stay again if in the area.
