Disappointed
Previously stayed at this hotel and was very impressed. . .This time was the exact opposite. The toilet in the room barely worked, had multiple roaches in the room. The room felt filthy (little things like paint bubbled up on the baseboards as well). I'm not sure if I got lucky the first time I stayed there or unlucky this time, but it was a very unpleasant experience.

Great place for a conference
Great place for a conference. But be prepared to get a little disoriented at times if your meetings are on different floors. The rooms were comfortable and the food at the restaurants was delicious. If you like Starbucks there is one inside of the hotel. Check out the view from the 32nd floor.

Conference Comfort
A spacious and beautiful hotel, located in an area that allows walking to many restaurants, shops and sight seeing areas. Beautiful views! The internal layout can be a little confusing, but I was attending a conference so that may have been the issue. It was clean and quiet and my bed was very comfortable. Overall the employees were very friendly and helpful. I hope to visit New Orleans again and would stay here.

Outdated, dirty and overall underwhelming. The rooms smelled musty and dirty. The toilet was so hard to flush I thought it was broken.

NOLA Hyatt Regency Top of The Line!
My husband and I came for my conference, wonderful experience and excellent hotel!! Really walkable to anything you would like to see and do or catch the train or Sight Seeing Bus!

Well located hotel in New Orleans for business and pleasure
Service was excellent and a superb bkfast buffet! The air condition worked really well, and the location was convenient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in New Orleans.

Could've been better
Great hotel besides house keeping . I called front desk for towels never recieved had to go down from the 17th floor to get , microwave on the 16th floor was broken. House keeper watched me lock my self out of room as the door slammed quickly she wouldn't open room told me to go to front door for replacement key.

Beautiful hotel with staff that are friendly and helpful. Classy atmosphere and my room had all the amenities needed. Near a street car stop to sight see.

Expected hot but got warm
Room was under welming for a Hyatt. Shower was warm at best and the pillow were really bad. No restful night sleep to be had

New Orleans stay
The overall hotel was beautiful. The bathroom was lacking. The shower was small and had old tiles. The toilet was constantly running and I had to call maintenance daily because it would stop flushing. It was never fully fixed during my stay and I was not even offered another room.

A Very Bad Experience by Hotel Staff that don't communicate and don't know what they are doing.
Check-in was the worst experience ever, as they did not honor our rooms they advised us we would get, splitting up my family and putting us on different floors. And a very late check-in too boot. We all just wanted to pack up and leave.

Would not recommend
I was very disappointed with my stay. The water pressure in our room was terrible, room service food was awful, and I had two "miscellaneous" charges on my card that I am still waiting to get reversed. Location and Valet gentleman were the only positives about our stay. On our last day we found a great restaurant "mother's", within walking distance for Poboys, etc. Skip room service and go to this place for dinner! Would not recommend this hotel, and will not stay again.

Lipstick on a Pig
I stayed at this hotel for a conference. The best way to describe it is "lipstick on a pig". The lobby is beautiful and feels grand. You get to your room however, and it is very dated. The over all feel was stale and musty. Ceiling tiles with visible water damage. We lost water two separate times during this stay and a colleague of mine had to call maintenance for her toilet 3 times over a 4 day stay! The conference center was so cold, it was bone cold. This was the least of the issue. It was so damp and cold, our papers felt wilted and the air felt moldy. Overall the food was ok but WAY over priced for what you got. One saving grace was the Starbucks inside the hotel for a descent cup of coffee.

Not for everybody
The hotel is nice and modern, and the food is good. You might not get the room you booked even if you reserve it a month ahead, though that didn't happen to us since they were booked up for a football game. The water pressure is weak, the shower is dated, and the bathroom is small. I wouldn't recommend it for small kids; I couldn't find a nice outdoor area, and walking on the street didn't feel very safe. But if you like good food, some drinks, and a little adventure, walking to the famous Bourbon Street for some sightseeing and nice restaurants it would be great here.🙂

Regency Excellence!!!
Hotel was HUGE!, very clean and Close to the Superdome, quick walk to the French Quarter. Great restraunts close by and the food was really great in the hotel. The wings in the bars were some of the best around town. We were there for a confrence and it was exceptional spot to stay. I would come backhere to stay without a doubt.

Great trip to NOLA
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. It was a busy time with a home football game next door at the dome, but the staff was ready and handled my arrival smoothly. I had to wait a short while for my room, but it was no issue as they were able to hold my bags while I attended a reception.

Location Caution
Dinning and food were great, location kind of sketchy many homeless people lingering outside, staff very nice, room cleanliness not so great.
