Overall, it was a decent place to stay. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing really stood out either. It was an average experience—not terrible, but not exceptional. For a Hyatt Regency, I expected a little more in terms of the overall experience and quality. It was an okay stay, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations for the brand.

Stayed night before early flight
Great location in vicinity to airport. Food is great and restaurant has multiple gluten free options for celiacs marked clearly in the menu. Very modern, clean and great amenities.

Great airport stay
Great location and hotel. Close to rental return. Great welcome, great shuttle service, very nice spacious room. Excellent value for the money

The room noise from the V Tech unit was terrible and uncontrollable. Our family breakfast was absolutely and seriously dissapointing.

when flying out of MSP
great alternative to intercontinental at the airport, 1/2 the price, just as nice, super easy to get to airport, light rail or shuttle.

Not good enough to be a Hyatt REGENCY
Does not attain the standard one would expect if you have ever stayed in a Hyatt Regency before. Essentially it's a Hyatt Place at best with smaller rooms and a larger bar, except you have to pay for breakfast at a snack counter and wait ages in line to do so. Does not have a full service breakfast and they do not provide daily housekeeping unless you actually get in to a fight with the staff about it.

A Nice Place to Stay. . .Once Again
We visit family in the Twin Cities several times a year and prefer to stay at the Hyatt Bloomington. The rooms are always clean. The service is usually quite good with nice personnel at the front desk. The atmosphere and design is casual with a touch of sophistication. The food is usually good. Overall, it's quite a nice place to stay.

Nice Hotel
Nice hotel, pleasant staff. Paid parking in an empty lot irritated me. I would stay again but please include the parking. It felt like a sneaky money grab.

Great location.
Excellent location to the Metro Transit rail! Nice quiet location. Beautiful hotel. Comfortable rooms. Just wish breakfast was included.

Good for airport proximity
Great hotel for being close to the airport and MoA. The library is relaxing and well stocked with good books. The breakfast was phenomenal. The airport shuttle was prompt and efficient.

We never stay anywhere else in the southern Twin Cities
I'd already had at least one very solid experience here in the late 2010s, but after staff saved my bacon on a booking error of mine shortly post-covid, that locked up my loyalty. Whenever we're heading to the Cities, unless I specifically have business exclusively in Blaine or whatever, I book this location without a second's thought. The quality is excellent in an absolute sense, and the value is also excellent. I have great confidence planning a trip centered around this Hyatt. The convenience is also excellent, with the light rail sitting right in the "front yard" to take you to the airport or downtown Minneapolis. This is also a great transit option if you're heading to the State Fair (which we often are)--there's a point-to-point Metro Transit shuttle just a five or ten minute walk away. The only caveat I would add is that if you don't have a car, you're somewhat limited on nearby dining. The proximity to the Mall of America means there aren't a lot of walkable options. If you have a car, or if you don't mind repeat visits to the MOA, this is not an issue. And it's obviously not the property's "fault", it's just something to keep aware of when you're planning your trip.

NOT a full service hotel
I'm not really sure where to begin - I was very much looking forward to this stay. I was in town to visit friends and decided to stay at this Hyatt Regency rather than downtown, as this one was close to the airport and I knew I'd be leaving early on the final day. It is right across the street from a light rail station, which was very convenient as well. Check in was nice enough, I was greeted kindly, offered a room on a higher floor, and some water. At that time I was told that housekeeping was only available once every 3-days, but I could request anything I needed. I had figured this meant "by request" as I am staying at a Hyatt Regency, not a Hyatt Place. Clearly I had misunderstood - and the management of this hotel misunderstands their role as a full service hotel. The next morning, I requested that someone come by to tidy up my room (I really just wanted my bed made and the trash taken out). I was told that housekeeping would only be provided every 3 days, and today was not my third day. I told them I didn't need full housekeeping - I did not need my sheets or the towels changed - just someone to tidy up the room. After a lot of back and forth, I pointed out that the website is clear that they offer a "turn down service" - which in my experience is a tidying of the room (it should be a little bit more, but whatever). After a lot of back and forth they agreed to come that day and they did. The same song and dance occurred the next morning, though I started the conversation with clarity regarding the turn down service and not needing new sheets. They said they would do so -- but I came back that evening to an un-made bed and the trash still full. I don't mean to sound like an absolute diva, but this is the reason I opt to stay at a Hyatt Regency vs. some of the other lower tier brands available nearby. In my mind, there really isn't much that sets this hotel apart from a Hyatt Place given their policies. I really hope Hyatt reviews this hotel and their policies and either requests a name change or a policy change - its really not living up to their brand. The bar was pleasant - nice staff and good food. The gym is adequate, and there is an indoor pool if you wish to get some swimming in. Also of note, they do not have ice machines - just coolers with bags of ice, every other floor ... classy :)

Great hotel right by the mall
This place was great for the fact that I got a big nice sweet for really cheap and it's really comfortable everything works really good the shower pressure was phenomenal but I had no working late in the living room the light to the right of my bed didn't work it had a broken piece on it and the curtains didn't really close and when I called the front to ask things they usually didn't answer but besides that it was a steal for the amount I paid

Nice hotel
Stayed here overnight before an early flight out of MSP. The hotel was clean and felt safe and nice. There was a nice park outside where people were walking dogs, playing soccer and enjoying a nice evening. When traveling alone I usually go directly to my room, lock the door and stay in but I felt safe at this place so ventured outside to enjoy a nice night. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent MSP Airport Option
Excellent food and beverage options and service. Comfortable rooms and beds. My go-to hotel to be close to MSP Airport.

Good hotel for quick visit to MSP area
Newish hotel, big room Size and nice setting. Interesting planned development area with a plaza/park and good coffee shop across the street.

The only thing sleeping great were the bedbugs.
I got bitten by bedbugs on my legs during my stay. I would recommend you spend your money elsewhere. I spoke to customer service and they gave me points as compensation (the equivalent of a free 1 night stay in a standard room). I don’t want the points because I NEVER intend on staying at another Hyatt again. I also paid for a deluxe room, which isn’t deluxe at ALL. It’s just a wheelchair accessible room! They are short on housekeeping staff so I had to wait nearly an hour after check in to get into my room! Don’t waste your money.

2026 Conference
Hotels fine however food options are very limited and expensive at the hotel. Does not have very many healthy options on the dinner menu.

disappointed
Very disappointing. Staff forget to send things to the room, overbook rooms, and a manager who makes the very least effort possible to get customers agreeable. I paid WAY too much for an executive suite and basically got a high-priced spot to sleep with no amenities (including no coffee in the room). I will never return.
