A bar & lounge with a wide selection of premium gins from around the world
The Union Bar & Lounge regularly serves over 10 kinds of premium gins from around the world carefully selected by the bartenders. Refreshing gin with scents of botanicals can be casually enjoyed at night, as well as during the day. Spend a special time with cocktails that match your mood and the weather of the day, from standard cocktails, with gin, tonics and martinis, to exclusive cocktails made by bartenders taking advantage of the characteristics of each gin.
Yokohama and gin have a deep relationship. Over 100 years ago, J. Curnow & Co., located in the foreign settlement of Yamashita-cho, imported and sold gin, which spread to the general public. The world-famous cocktail, Million Dara, was born in Yokohama. Craft gin, which has become a global hit, is also produced in Kanagawa, and the award-winning gin, the “Japanese Craft Gin – Koganei" made by Koganei Shuzo, the sake brewery in Kanagawa with a history of 200 years, is very popular at the Union Bar & Lounge. Koganei gin, which only uses botanicals from Kanagawa, such as kabosu citrus and Japanese pepper, is made with sake brewing techniques that they have cultivated over many years. We recommend enjoying it on the rocks or with soda.
Afternoon Tea
The Union Bar & Lounge offers seasonal afternoon tea. Enjoy our chefs’ elaborate sweets and savories such as sweets using seasonal fruits, freshly baked quiche, and sandwiches using the hotel-made bread, “nikin.” You can also enjoy Ronnefeldt ® tea as much as you like.

Light Meals
We offer light meals such as burgers and sandwiches are also available. The“Japanese Beef Burger“ is a juicy patty made from 100% Japanese beef and accented with a secret sauce made from sugar beet. The “Roast Beef Sandwich“ is made with hotel-made bread Nikin and is a great way to enjoy the flavor of roast beef and fresh vegetables.
