Very good upkeep place was very clean rooms where nice and clean as well didnt have an old room smell customer service was very friendly and spoke English healpful with my needs

highest expectations were in vain -

average hotel
the rooms are small and hotel was very busy. the breakfast was very expensive and they were expecting my 10 years old child sleeping in our bed, even though we booked for three people.

Deposit refund slowly
The hotel is very good condition. We had the beautiful river views. We travel around the EU every year and stay in different five star hotel. But unfortunately this is the only one kept our 400 euro deposit more than one week. And we're still waiting for the deposit refund. You can choose it if you don't mind the deposit which is 100 euro per day.

Wedding weekend at the Hyatt
Beautiful hotell in a nice and quiet location, but still in walking distance to everything you might need. Great view, nice facilities and friendly and helpful stay. Everything was perfect.

Nice place to be
Professional staff and nice rooms. When we arrived our luggages were taken to our Room and everything went very smoothly.

Couple week end
The hotel lost in quality and that's really sad. The breakfast, room service and check-in experience were really low compared to what we were used to .

Worth every penny Staff very welcoming and professional
I had a very pleasant week at the Hotel. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was also quite good. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Düsseldorf

Do not arrive early...they will NOT accommodate you
We arrived at the Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf early in the morning after traveling overnight from Canada and then taking a train from Frankfurt. While we understood that our timing was not ideal, we had proactively requested early check-in online in advance, though we never received a response. Upon arrival, we were told the only available option was a paid room upgrade. Given that we were staying for four nights, the additional cost was not reasonable for us, so we declined and opted to wait for a standard room. What followed was extremely disappointing. We were left waiting in the lobby for approximately four hours, exhausted to the point of falling asleep on the couches, while multiple guests who arrived after us were checked into rooms ahead of us. It was not until close to the 3:00 pm check-in time that my wife approached the desk again. At that point, a male staff member apologized and immediately issued us a room key…raising the question of why this had not been done earlier. Unfortunately, the two female front desk staff we dealt with initially were dismissive and unhelpful, and their approach lacked basic customer service standards. In contrast, the male staff member was professional and apologetic. Once in the room, the experience did not improve. The bed was extremely firm (arms kept falling asleep), and the pillows were poor quality…filled with air and flattening completely when laid on. Overall, the room and comfort level did not align with expectations of a five-star hotel. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel. If you do stay here, I strongly suggest dealing with the male front desk staff rather than the women we encountered. PS - the maid was at our door between 8:30-9:00am daily, so we know there were clean rooms they could have put us into. So disappointing Hyatt…

Excellent stay!
This hotel is well located with very helpful, friendly and professional staff. The Regency Club is a nice space to relax or enjoy snacks and cocktails. Breakfast is always excellent! On this particular stay Enrico (Regency Club) and Lena (Chef) went out of their way to accommodate my wife’s lactose intolerance during the canapé and cocktail hour! The bellboy is also always very friendly and welcoming!

Would no stay again
Our room had a horrible smell, like fishy foul water. Not sure if its the whole hotel's water supply or just our room. Based on the fact that I couldn't find other complaints online about this it must either be a temporary thing or just our room. The room was fine, but the layout was more for visual appeal that for functionality. I would not stay here again even absent the fish smell.
Outstanding stay
Very good hotel, right at the river. The room is spacious well equipped, nice bathroom, huge TV, comfortable bed and nice bedcloths, big bathroom with well functioning facilities. The brekfast room was very nice, a lot of choices and good quality. The fitness room good be a little bigger with more choices. The hotel is not in the city center but the location is very nice.

Poor service lets down what is a lovely hotel.
It’s a great hotel in a great location. Modern, comfortable and well equipped. However if you are offered a room on the second floor politely refuse and insist on a higher floor. The hotel regularly holds events called After Work Parties, which turn your room into a night club. It’s a common issue but management continually let these rooms knowing they are a problem during these events. Which is poor practice. Despite asking for a new room I was informed the hotel was full to later find out it wasn’t and a room was available. Promised calls from the duty manager never arrived. Emails unanswered. Such a shame I’ve stayed here 30 times this year but my most recent experience exposes their failing, poorly trained staff and weak management.

The hotel was a welcome change to a busy business traveler. Room are perfectly laid, spacious and with a great view. The hotel used great quality products.

Would book again
Nice view on the harbor and the communciations' tower. Breakfast is a treat. I really enjoyed the chairs on the terrace with a 360° view.

Excellent Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf
As Globalist members, we were upgraded to a beautiful 18th-floor suite offering stunning views of the Rhine River and city skyline. The suite was thoughtfully appointed, with a spacious living room complete with dining table, and even a kitchen. Having stayed at the Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf since its opening in 2010, we can confidently say that the service remains consistently excellent. The staff continue to recognize and warmly welcome returning guests. Breakfast remains one of the best among Hyatt Regency properties in Europe, and comfort and cleanliness have been maintained at a high level over the years. One change: the Club Lounge has been relocated from its original high-floor location to a smaller space near the DOX restaurant and bar. Unfortunately, it no longer accommodates all Club-level guests, so we were directed to take a seat at the DOX bar. Nevertheless, the staff—especially Benjamin—were incredibly helpful, ensuring we had all the snacks and drinks we needed. We will certainly return as regular guests. The Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf continues to be a remarkable destination.

Beautiful Dusseldorf Harbor hotel
Lovely hotel on the harbor overlooking interesting, mostly modern architecture. Hotel staff very pleasant and accommodating. about 20 minute walk to Old Town and 10/15 minute walk from public transportation. Extensive European breakfast.
