Incidentals Hold
During arrival, the hotel will authorize room and tax charges and an additional $50 per night for any incidentals placed on the guest room.
These authorizations post on your account as a pending transaction.
Unused funds are released after departure and are typically available within five to ten business days. Credit cards from an institution outside of the United States may typically encounter additional time for the release to be reflected on the account.
It’s strongly discouraged to use a debit card, as the authorization will place a withdrawal on the account at the time of check-in.
Early Departure Fee
Hyatt Regency Santa Clara has an early departure fee of one-night’s room and tax. Departure dates are reconfirmed at check-in and are subject to a fee if changed after the cancellation window for the reservation.
Smoking Policy
Hyatt Regency Santa Clara is a non-smoking hotel. A $500 fee will be charged for smoking in guestrooms and may result in the possible eviction from the hotel.
Shipping and Receiving Packages
Guests with an existing room reservation may receive and ship packages through the hotel. The hotel accepts packages up to 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation, and will store packages up to 7 days beyond the departure date of the reservation. If packages are not retrieved within the 7 days beyond the departure date, the hotel will discard the package accordingly unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Package Handling Fee per Package:
- Packages or letters up to 5 pounds $5 per package
- Packages 6 – 45 pounds $20 per package
- Packages 46 – 99 pounds $40 per package
- For packages that are 100 pounds or more, please contact the hotel for additional information.

The labeling on your packages should include:
- NAME OF THE GUEST ON THE ROOM RESERVATION
- NAME OF INDIVIDUAL RETRIEVING PACKAGE IF DIFFERENT THAN THE NAME ON THE ROOM RESERVATION
- ORGANIZATION NAME and DATES OF FUNCTION IF APPLICABLE

Pet Policy
We are happy to welcome your traveling canine companions.
To participate in the pet program:
Inform the hotel you will have a dog (or dogs) staying with you at least three days in advance of your arrival. A $75 additional fee will occur for reservations that fail to provide advance notice. Cats are not allowed. Dogs must be housebroken, attended to at all times and on leash while on property. Pets are not allowed in restaurants, meeting spaces, pool, Fitness Center, or any other public areas other than the lobby.
Pet Fees
- Up to 6 nights - $100 per stay
- 7 to 30 nights - $100 additional deep cleaning fee
- 30 or more nights, a fee will be assessed at the hotel’s discretion
Weight Limits
Only dogs weighing 50 pounds and under or two dogs under a combined weight of 75 pounds are permitted.
