Great Hotel!! Super clean, Great location and Fantastic view!
This hotel was a great experience! Super clean and it has a beautiful view with the river and the tall buildings! Also, all the touristic places are walking distance. Very convenient for a small vacation.
Modern feel and refreshed rooms
The location is hard to beat, right along the river and within easy walking distance of Michigan Ave., restaurants, shopping, Chicago theater, etc. The hotel has a modern feel and the refreshed rooms are nicely updated. It feels contemporary without being over the top.

Expected Better: Unresolved Maintenance and Communication Issues
I was unable to reach the front desk using my room phone. Due to a clogged bathtub, I went down to the lobby to report the issue in person and was assured it would be resolved while I was out. However, when I returned that evening, the tub was still full of water, forcing me to shower in standing water.

Hyatt is the best
Customer service was beyond amazing during a super busy time. Coming in for the marathon was stressful but arriving at the Hyatt decompressed the entire event in a positive way. It is very rare that I experience customer service like we received at Hyatt.

Beautiful view and comfortable bed
The room was very clean and the view was incredible. The bed was really comfortable. We were surprised that the coffee in the room was mediocre and there were paper cups and powder creamers. Every time the hvac went on the curtain rod kept clicking against the window. The last day we were there, employees were on strike and the quality of food was not as it had been

A great stay
We had a great stay. All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and updated. Breakfast was fantastic, the buffet is worth going out of your way for. Valet was smooth.

As you'd expect for the price, but poor inter-staff communication
Hotel was as you would expect for the price, all very clean and tidy. Staff were helpful but clearly lacking in communication across such a large hotel. We got different answers at different times. I was there for the marathon, checking out on the day of the marathon itself. I had asked 6 months in advance about late check out, and was told "this is usually 2pm for marathon runners". Then a week before I was told it should be possible and to ask at check in. Then at check in I was flatly told there was no option, and repeatedly asked about upgrades instead. lots of upselling, not a lot of listening to what is important to the customer. If I had been told this in advance of my stay, I would have booked through the official marathon hotel scheme that offers late check out (I believe even at the same hotel for cheaper).

Wonderful experience
I was there to attend a meeting/conference. What an amazing experience. The staff is first rate. The facilities were fantastic. The location is right in the heart of downtown and easily walkable. 10/10

Chicago RIverwalk Location is Fabulous
Great hotel. Right by the Chicago Riverwalk. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel has one of Chicago's most beautiful bars -- Big Bar.

Nice hotel, expensive parking
Great location, nice service and clean rooms. Parking is insanely expensive, even for Chicago. If you are able to find somewhere else to park, would highly recommend it!

Great spot in my favorite city

Beautiful location
This hotel is at a great location. Close to Soldier field, close to Navy pier and also close to Lake Michigan Clean rooms, helpful staff. Overall beautiful Hotel.

Nice stay
Hotel is busy, however it was a nice atmosphere. Breakfast buffet was good, the big bar was nice to have an appetizer and drink. Room was nice, bathroom was a little tight. But room was clean and bed was comfortable. Overall our family had a nice stay and the hotel is conveniently located to Chicago sites etc.

Great location nice hotel
In town for an Eagles game and stayed here with our travel group for the game. All in all it was a good experience except for the downstairs bar where the wait was too long for a single person sitting at the bar and they brought me the wrong beverage and then took too long to get my food. BUT other than that it's still a great property and that would not keep me from staying here again. It was probably an off night even though it wasn't that busy. Location is great for walking all over the city!

Hyatt Regency Chicago is right in the middle of all the action on Michigan Avenue!
The location of this beautiful hotel cannot be beat! You are right on Michigan Avenue where all the action is. The hotel lobby is absolutely gorgeous. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a Skyview suite where I had the beautiful view of the city, Michigan Avenue, and Lake Michigan. Ms. Intisar was so generous to take care of everything for me. She was very professional, courteous, and friendly. The breakfast hotel is outstanding. There are so many choices at the buffet. I didn’t know what to choose! I also appreciate the $25 voucher. I ended up using it for a few drinks. In addition, as a globalist, we got to enjoy drinks and light bites at the Regency lounge. There is a nice variety of appetizers and drinks and dessert desserts! Every time I go to Chicago, this is the hotel where I stay if I have enough time to go into the city. Hyatt knows how to take care of their guests!

A stay to Chicago worth remembering!
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, and we can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. What truly set this stay apart was the exceptional level of customer service. Every team member we encountered was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, making us feel valued from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable accommodations and excellent amenities. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met, always greeting guests with warm smiles and positive attitudes. Whether it was the front desk (on the 2nd floor), housekeeping, valet team members or restaurant staff, everyone demonstrated professionalism and a commitment to creating a memorable guest experience. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist made our stay stress-free and enjoyable. The Quality Assurance team members also helped us tremendously up to our arrival. We highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Chicago to anyone looking for a hotel that combines great accommodations with truly exceptional hospitality.
