With our prime riverfront location in the heart of The Loop, Hyatt Regency Chicago offers upgraded guestrooms and suites with breathtaking skyline and river views and easy access to the city’s most iconic attractions including Millenium Park, Navy Pier, and the Riverwalk.
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available based on availability and World of Hyatt member status; please contact the hotel in advance to arrange.
Yes. Hyatt Regency Chicago offers complimentary luggage storage for guests both before check-in and after check-out. Simply stop by the Bell Desk located on the Lobby Level, and our team will be happy to securely hold your bags until you’re ready.

Hotel Experience & General Information
Hyatt Regency Chicago is near many of Chicago’s top attractions. Millenium Park, the Riverwalk, Magnificent Mile and the Art Institute are all within a close 10 min proximity. Navy Pier is a bit further at approximately 1.5 miles from the hotel, surface streets provide walking access while some guests choose to utilize public transportation or car options to visit Navy Pier.
Hyatt Regency Chicago offers convenient access to the city’s top sports venues, with Soldier Field just a quick 5-minute drive away and Wrigley Field reachable in under 30 minutes by car or train.

No, Hyatt Regency Chicago does not have a swimming pool. Instead, the hotel offers other wellness amenities, including a 24-hour fitness center and convenient access to the scenic Chicago Riverwalk for outdoor recreation.
While we do not provide self-service laundry on site, we are happy to arrange professional laundry and dry-cleaning services for our guests. Simply drop off your items, and they’ll be returned to you within 24 hours.
Parking, Travel & Transportation
The closest major transit hub to Hyatt Regency Chicago is Chicago Union Station, just over a mile away. For air travel, both Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) are conveniently accessible to Hyatt Regency Chicago. Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) is approx. 17 miles away and Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) is approx. 12 miles away. Both are accessible by public transient, car, rideshare (Uber/Lyft), taxi, or car rental.
