Dog Policy

We’re happy to welcome your furry companions at our dog-friendly Hyatt Place Montreal - Downtown.

Fees

For stay of 1 to 6 nights, the fee is $175 regardless of duration.

For stays exceeding 6 nights, please contact the hotel.

Reservations for dogs must be made at least three days prior to arrival. 

Weight Limits

Dogs must weigh 18 kilograms (40 pounds) or less; they must weigh 36.2 kilograms (80 pounds) or less for two.

Restrictions

Dogs are not allowed in public areas, including dining venues and any event spaces. Owner will be asked to complete our hotel’s animal-friendly letter and provide a cell phone number in order to locate the guest in the event of an emergency. If no answer or reply, pets will be moved to an approved local kennel.

Owner is asked to contact housekeeping to arrange a daily cleaning time; otherwise, room will not be serviced. Dogs may not remain in the room while housekeeping is providing service.

Owner is responsible for all damage to hotel property. The hotel does not assume liability for a guest’s pet or its actions while at the hotel.

Failure to follow procedures can and will result in the manager on duty contacting a guest regarding noise complaints and providing kennel options if necessary.
